Recently bought a dishwasher at price we were happy with given it was floor stock, but now it is equivalent to buying a seconds product at an inflated price. The sales person said it would be packaged and ready for collection in a week as another product we bought was to be ordered in. My expectation was that the store would wrap the dishwasher properly for transport in cardboard. The thin layer of bubble wrap is not enough protection and to top it off the staff loaded it onto its side where there was no bubble wrap. Very poor response from the store when I emailed the store to tell them of the damage caused, just thanking me for bringing it to their attention...no offer of compensation or replacement. Not likely to shop there or recommend this store again. Very disappointed!!

Luke is the best sales in Harvey Norman Mascot and very happy to purchase good quality products with excellent service. Lucky to catch the last chance before the Merchant is closing down. Thanks for everything. Mark

Walked around here for an hour on a thursday afternoon and not once was acknowledged. Pillows had no reduced sticker prices on them. Approached a lady at a desk on the floor asking if i could ask some questions and she looked up from her paperwork which was clearly more important than a sale and bringing money into the business, and she huffed and swivelled her head around huffing eyeballing anyone who could possibly assist. A young guy saw her desperation caused by a customer trying to speak with her and came over offering to help. He was great. Spent 2k for a 3k couch. Not a great price as full retail at HN is about 40% higher than an acceptable price. But i was desperate and wanted sonething mostly decent.

Please do not buy any table from them as the quality is very very poor! If you do, consider to always put a cloth on it and see the ugly look everyday! Also their customer service and support after you purchase something from them, is very poor. They repeatedly tell you it is not a manufacturing problem so they won’t do anything about your issue. Keep these in mind before buying anything from Harvey Norman Clearance.

Some times if your after an item , you will go to a store to look at whats on offer , ask a few questions , go home to decide , you are going to buy but after making an informed decision. Went away with the impression from the salesgirl that if your not buying your wasting my time. Too pushy  Harvey Norman, but she really did know what she was talking about

We purchased a fridge freezer from Harvey Norman in Alexandria. The main criteria of the fridge freezer was that it was to have a directly plumbed ice maker. The unit arrived with scratches and a dent in the side. We immediately called the store and they assured us that the unit was new and they offered to extend the warranty by a further 3yrs to ensure longevity of use.  We were coerced into accepting the extended warranty. At the time the sales representative at the store said to me that if we had any problems we could return the fridge before use.  Two weeks later when our kitchen was ready to have the fridge freezer installed the installer advised us that the unit does not directly connect to the plumbing.  When we called to ask to return and exchange the unit, we were told that the sales representative had advised us of the model number and that they would not do anything about it.  I would never recommend dealing with this store, specifically Simon the manager in Electricals.  We currently have a Fair Trading complaint in against the company.

Poor service especially in the kitchen appliance service. Guy looked annoyed to have been bothered. The oven section was an absolute mess and when I asked to check another section the guy said 'oh there's nothing down there', he lied. No where I went was there anyone to help. Definitely won't be coming back Harvey.

Absolutely useless. You'd think with the Home Maker Centre being so close they could step up their game  in Customer Service as well as deliver competitive pricing. Don't bother shopping here.

Just bought a second T2 fisher & paykel washing machine no stock of new model anywhere after being assured that it would not have been used by a customer unless it was dead on arrival and likely a second due to a dent. Was worried when I heard water sloshing around in it on the way home. After one wash parts fell from the inside of the machine and laundry was flooded. Still waiting for a call back from store. It's the last time I but from this clearance store. Update. Credit to the shop. They will refund. Thank you

Absolutely terrible customer service, there is a real lack of any sort of desire to help the customer. I got the feeling I was an inconvenience and that they were trying to get rid of me the quickest way possible. I would never shop here again, I only wish I hadn't purchased as much from here as I did prior to this. Wouldn't recommend...
