I’ve been coming here for years. Anything to do with furniture white goods, electronics, etc this store will have a wide range of brands and competitive prices. And the staff seem to work on commission because they are very helpful and attentive even too much so sometimes. Here’s a tip too, if you decide to buy something there, always ask the staff if the sticker price is the best they can do. 90% of the time in my experience they will take as much as 5-10% off. All you have to do is ask :
Huge range of products with majority of staff having great knowage on products. Phoebe promptly approached me. Taking the time to acknowledge what was import to me and what would be most practical for my unusual lifestyle. She recommended a product and gave clear reasoning why she believed other items wouldn't be ideal for me. Thank you for your time today and sharing your knowage. 5 stars for Phoebe Ana was great in the vaccum component of the store. She was friendly and approachable. She does need to slow down a little and listen to the customer more and their needs. Also offering to demonstrate a different vaccum, model down from what I intend to purchase isn't ideal. The vaccum hoses where a mess in the storage cabinet and it was clear Ana was flushed trying to get the correct hose for the vaccum I was interested in. Orginisation and illprepreaction def let Ana down today. This isn't all in her though. Management may want to address this issue making it easier for all staff to demo items when required/requested. Unfortantly I haven't been able to give 5 stars for HNF as the furniture side of the business wasn't as I'd expect. Excellent range with lots of variety with brands I'm formula with... But the sale staff where too busy chatting amount themself to notice I was interested in more information on a bed I had spotted and liked. I did approach other staff member regarding this but unfortantly she was unable to assist as it wasn't her department, which understandable. I highly recommend management speak to furniture sales staff and approaching customers. Even if it's just to offer assistance, friend face for the customer to connect with or actually make a sale!
Not happy at all. Went to buy a chaise lounge, but all the styles we liked had the chaise on the right side! We wanted it on the left side, but that would have costed another $1500! Ridiculous! Apparently they ordered those chaise lounges on the right side only to get a special deal! Sorry, but you lost a sale from us!
Bought a dishwasher last week and it was delivered/installed today. The gent who sold it to me was great, super efficient and didn't try and upsell me/change my mind. The installers today were so friendly and helpful, on time and communicated very well. I was super impressed with the entire experience.
Terrible. Trying to use my Product Care Store Voucher. Firstly, store staff playing games on computer, to busy to help. Secondly, rude staff member re if I was going to be able to spend on another area of the store from my original purchase. Not my concern if different areas are different franchise, my store credit is with Harvey Norman and is not written anywhere. Thirdly, go to make purchase, which the total is less than the store credit. Then advised that all has to be spent at once. Again this is not in the T&Cs. ‍ Very angry and dissapointed.
Jen was a great help when making our Circut purchase. She was so knowledgeable, patient and most importantly honest about the product differences. Will recommend Jen to any friends looking to make a purchase at Harvey Norman!
