Do not shop with Harvey Norman. Worst service I've experienced in a long time, if not ever.nOrdered online and after a couple of weeks had no updates on delivery status.nContacted through their online feedback on 9 Oct, response along the lines of 'We're very busy, will be in touch'. Still have not received a response four weeks later.nThe same day as I sent the request for an update, I received an email from them asking how they had done with my order. Muppets, I hadn't received anything and still haven't.nThe last three weeks has been a daily routine of calls/texts from some delivery company scheduling in a delivery then postponing it.nNo telephone number to contact anyone about online deliveries at Harvey Norman. Called local store and the woman told me I would need to contact the supplier of the product myself. I reminded her I'd paid Harvey Norman not their supplier and she reluctantly passed my on to someone else who told me he couldn't deal with it. The only person who could was not there.nStill haven't received the product I ordered and just received another yet notification that delivery for today is cancelled and rescheduled again.nI say again, do not buy from Harvey Norman
What a nightmare dealing with Harvey Norman Online. Ordered an exercise bike on 9th of September 2024 and given a link to Hunter Express who picked it up.on the 10th of September. As at the 24th of September no tracking advice from HE after they picked the item up. When I queried with Harvey Norman as to where the goods were, just patronising stock answers. No one has even contacted the freight company or followed up my queries as to where the goods are. Not only don't the Customer Service staff care where my goods are, they don't even make any effort to look like they care. I was going to buy this bike on eBay but didn't. I will never use Harvey Norman Online again. They are so arrogant and so incompetent it is infuriating, and I see by the other comments I am not the only one taken in by their warm and fuzzy corporate image. Buy from anywhere else but this mob of incompetent clowns and their equally incompetent chosen freight company.
You want bad service go see Jason Hazel in the furniture department at Harvey Norman Kingaroy.nWe have bought an enormous amount of items from Harvey Norman Kingaroy and service has been Great until yesterday.nAfter buying a bedroom suit for my granddaughter, not being able to try out the mattress as they didn't have one on the floor. We accepted the cheaper 1 for $499 It is definitely not suitable for her and it doesn't even fit the base of the Melina bed we bought.nBeing so Dissatisfied I called up to return the mattress, but Jason Hazel said its against Harvey Normans policy to return mattresses. I know other competitors in this industry would have taken it back.nSo after my RantnI will never ever buy another single item from any Harvey Norman dealer again.nJason gave permission to use his name.
Extremely poor customer service. Our $350 microwave with a 10 year warranty stopped working & caused a fire hazard only for the manager James to immediately tell me to read the fine print & refused to refund us. After taking Harvey Norman to Fair Trading & NCAT we were refunded. James didn’t have the guts to complete the refund or apologise himself & sent a female employee over the speak to us. He also struggles to comprehend what “contact via email only please” means & called multiple times. We had spent 40-50k at Harvey Norman Warrawong but never again. We purchased new furniture & appliances at Nick Scali & the Good Guys yesterday instead. Avoid Harvey Norman Warrawong.
In the Courier Mail on 3rd Oct had Deal of the Week with Harvey Norman for $2495 was a Samsung 75inch. I contacted Harvey Norman on 4th Oct and they said the deal finished on 2nd Oct and would not honour the deal.nIs this false advertising??
