The reason I gave 5* is because I mistaken took this line and stopped at Hartwell in panicked mood , it's dark almost 20:00pm. But I'm so grateful, 2 police services at the train helped ,talked and assisted me with direction , one of the police on duty was Steve 13/08/24 19:50pm. Hartwell Station waited with me till next train arrives just because he realized that I was in a panick mood and scared. Thank you so much for the great service and looking after the safety of the passengers.
Good, safe & clean station. There are no restrooms here. Station is sheltered. The station is on the vicinity of a popular cafe, the Fordham milk Bar.nTram lines are within 500 metres. There is also a playground nearby. If you plan to park your vehicle before riding the train, make sure to arrive early or avoid office timing as the station doesn't have a designated parking and the street parking often gets full. There are no regular bus stops in this area.
The sign advises that there are toilets at the station. In June 2019 that is definitely not the case. There is a covered seating area, and at the rear of the station building there are two closed and permanently locked doors where toilets once were.
It’s not good or bad. It’s convenient enough to walk from the offices and shops on Toorak Rd and closer to residential dwellings than Burwood Station is. The level crossings can cause issues when I want to cross the tracks, but I haven’t had issues with them yet. There is a bike rack and some other facilities, but in general it’s a fairly minor station that just happens to be convenient from my workplace.
Dope station, unique in design in that the platforms are joined in the middle with the tracks on the outside as opposed to one on either side of the tracks, no toilets tho
