Welcome to Hartland Camera Repairs

Hartland Camera Repairs are the sole authorised warranty repair agent for Nikon, Olympus, Tamron and Casio and also warranty repair agent for Elinchrom.

Hartland Camera Repairs (formerly Hartland Cinemex) has provided quality service to the photographic industry for over 60 years. We provide service and repairs to various government departments including WA Police Forensics, WA Schools and Hospitals, Professional Photographers, Retail Stores and the general public.

There have been many changes over the years with Hartland Camera Repairs (Hartlands) from Terry Hartland, Ray Hartland and Bill Mellor to the current owners Nigel Boots (commenced 1972) and Karen Boots (commenced 2005). We both share the same ideas and try to promote good old fashioned customer service.

We also specialise in sensor cleaning (including Nikon Professional Services). Turnaround times for sensor cleaning, card recoveries (same day turnaround timeframe available).

As technology has changed we have witnessed all the technological advances in the development of cameras and imaging equipment. We have invested in the latest test equipment and attend factory training when required for digital still cameras and lenses.

Nigel attends all necessary training along with other staff as required.

We are able to offer unrivalled service for all your photographic servicing needs.

We have invested in new test equipment to maintain factory specifications of Tamron lenses. Hartlands are the sole Australian Warranty repair agent for Tamron lenses. Our range of Tamron test equipment consists of a Lens Projector (image) for checking resolution and Flare Lens Axis tool for checking optical alignment, Collimator for adjusting infinity and flange back focus.

We also have communication tools and software for uploading various focus and VC data to the lenses (images to be attached).
The new A007, A009 and F004 lenses can now be fully checked with new state of the art Tamron software to check all functions of the lenses.
