Dog friendly which was lovely and good service from one staff member. Long coloured hair - sorry we didn't get your name. Wine was good but I wouldn't pay the price for the expensive ones... Thought they were well over priced. Really nice venue though with a warm fire. Other staff member wasn't particularly welcoming or personable.
Went for a wine tasting and lunch. Beautiful red wines. Bought two bottles of wines. Lunch was amazing. We ordered the garlic bread for starters...so delicious!! For main course we ordered beef pie and potatoes and beef ragu pasta. The sauce with the pie and potatoes was delicious . The pasta was delectable and filling. Dessert was just as good. No criticism of anything at all. Will definitely come back!!
Fantastic! The cafe here is great too overlooking some vineyards on lush lawn - definitely perfect to sit outside if the weather is good. The wine is excellent as well and cant go past a nice white to go with your lunch
I absolutely loved this winery. We visited with our puppy who was welcomed with open arms! We enjoyed a sensational lunch with beautiful wine and fabulous service. Can't recommend enough!
What a great experience. Rebecca was fantastic. Going through the wines and her knowledge of the winery. I would recommend the tour and the tasting. What a great location. Two thumbs up.
Sundays are all about long lunches and live music at Wirra Wirra. Kick back with your closest kin, a bottle of your favourite vino and let the day drift as shadows from the surrounding gums dance to the live acoustics of @maxkellymusic Harrys Deli offers a selection of thoughtful and wholesome dishes that are reflective of local produce and utterly delicious; whilst ordering is made easy with the table side QR code menu system. Definite must try items include the, Baba Ghanoush Flat Bread and Son of Trott Pie, whilst the Gluten Free Salt & Pepper Squid and Sticky Beef Noodle Salad were an absolute hit with my wife who required Coeliac friendly options. My only criticism if there was any, was the slight lack of attention by the wait staff. Dirty dishes were left on our table for long periods of time, share plates not bought out with the platter and empty water bottles not replaced unless prompted. These are only small things, but a dining experience is measured by the little details too, not just the food.
Very disappointing. After being recommended to go here from another winery, we were not acknowledged upon arrival at 3PM & then when finally seated, we waited 50 minutes for hot chips & a sandwich, which cost $32!! Ended up having to ask where our food was, and then asked for it to be take away as we did not want to sit there any longer. The staff member just sat the food on the table without an apology for the wait. Sandwich barely had any filling & chips were average. Will not be returning.
Dropped in for lunch. Service was good. Food was great. Wine was nice. Beautiful place. Easy parking. Would happily return.
Loved the history and unique entrance to this winery. The tour, tribouchet and ringing of the bell was pretty special as was the wines.
What a beautiful atmosphere! Such a lovely little spot, with inside and outside seating. The wine is good and the food fresh & delicious. The tasting room is located opposite the restaurant/cafe and the staff were lovely and friendly. We will definitely be back! Thank you. Instagram @kirbystaltari
