The food was very good. Chips were so crunchy. Pies were one of the best I've tried. There's a wall full of celebrities who visited. It was funny to find out that Richard Branson visited this place Very cheap also.
Friendly service and lovely nostalgic feels but would not come again food wise. Not worth hype but recommend to try once when visiting Australia.
Nice and unique setup. We ordered the tiger pie and hotdog de wheels. Tastes good even we dont usually eat peas
This Sydney famous spot was a let down. The pie wasn’t crisp in the slightest, and the filling was more gravy than meats. We ordered one with the special mash, mushy peas, and gravy ontop. The mash tasted like it was made from a box and while it went well with the pie, there was a much larger percentage of mash and mush than pie, so at the end we were left with no pie and a pile of glop. The food does not live up to the hype.
Excellent food and quick service. If you ever come by here, I highly recommend stopping here for a pie.
