Great store to buy all your groceries from including a wide range of fruits and vegetables. Checkout is amazing with wonderful people working there, I have to congratulate how much knowledge they have on their produce i know that can’t be easy. Honestly it’s impressive how they know basically all the produce they sell including the non popular ones we see. Imperfect picks are a great deal on price and the bakery is extravagant. I love this harris farm and recommend it for everybody.
Harris Farm sell a wide range of quality fruit and vegetables, in addition to dairy, meat, bread and groceries. The Mosman store is well lit and neat and a pleasure to visit. Expect to pay a little more. Compared with other Harris Farm stores, the seafood section of this store is disappointingly small
Great selection of fruit and veg including rarer ones you won’t find many other places. Staff are relatively friendly and extremely helpful at helping to find items. Try to go at less busier times to avoid the large queue to checkout.
Pricey, but has a good range of products. However, I've been shopping there for years and there hasn't been a week without some sort of issue at the checkout, most commonly: - Items scanned twice - Price at checkout turns out to be higher than on the tag, or a product that is supposedly on sale suddenly goes at full price - They enter a more expensive product e.g. "premium" eggplant instead of "imperfect" - They lean on the scales when weighing items. This one is very hard to catch. Yesterday my wife came home with a 137g garlic bulb according to the receipt actual weight 55g. When I point out these things at checkout or come back to get a refund for a double scanned / mispriced item, I rarely receive any apology, mostly just blank stares. I do hope these are all genuine mistakes by inexperienced staff and not a deliberate tactic to overcharge customers whenever possible. But I have learnt to be very careful and always take and double check my receipts, and suggest everyone to do the same.
Great set up! Has almost everything you could want. But if you buy the imperfect produce, they sometimes charge you for the full price ones - even when you use the green bags. Always check your receipts at the time.
My favourite grocery stores! They make a lot of mistakes on their prices! Always check you receipt!
Harris Farm until recently packaged their pizza’s in a hard plastic pizza shaped container which protected the base crust dry and kept the ingredients shaped and supple. Unfortunately they now shrink wrap the pizza which not only squashes it as flat as a pancake but in doing so squashes all the moisture from the likes of tomatoes into the base crust now causing it to go soggy and wrinkled. Its texture and overall quality is no longer worth the price. A great shame.
Really nice place to shop...after reading the response from management I feel like I should clarify. I've never had an issue with overcharging at this store. In comparison I do find places like Woolies overcharge frequently due to outdated price dockets etc but at Harris Farm Mosman the prices are transparent and I've never been overcharged. Good range of organic and imperfect produce at reasonable prices.
They’ve recently flooded the store with a bunch of gross looking “up-cycled” food that is basically just a poorly marketed attempt to get rid of food that was too overpriced to sell, rather than just god forbid dropping their outrageous prices. They’re exorbitant: a bag of rolled oats here for $15… I almost couldn’t believe it. Oh, and if you’re looking for something specific which you probably are as they claim to be a specialty store, you’re on your own. The staff won’t know how to bag your items correctly let alone help you find anything.
I can always find some good things that other supermarkets can't buy here.
