A good location for weeknight shopping, 2 hours before close it's practically empty though I feel fresh veg produce feels smaller than the broadway store, still plenty of fresh fruit and veg here. This one has an eatery you can go to during the day time as well. Parking underground, car park entry from the back side of the block.
In my own personal experience, I don’t find the food here that fresh. Some interesting stuff like making your own milk and peanut butter here. Used to get the banana bread here all the time, a loaf for $5-6 that’s always been good.
Very convenient store with a cafe, bakery, florist, groceries, deli and seafood store! I’ve come here to grab bunches of flowers and the florists offer complimentary wrapping for the flowers you choose which is fabulous! Thank you to Miley Lou the friendly florist that works on Thursdays who has helped me on two occasions to put together sunflowers while I shopped around!
I recently had an interaction with a supervisor named Tina at the store checkout, and I was extremely disappointed with the level of service I received. When I approached Tina with inquiries about products and promotions, she appeared to have no knowledge whatsoever. Additionally, her English proficiency was lacking, making our interaction even more challenging.nnTina seemed confused and clueless about the information I was seeking. It was evident that she was not equipped to handle customer inquiries effectively. I find it concerning that someone with limited English fluency and product knowledge would be placed in a supervisor role.nnUltimately, Tina was unable to assist me with my questions and redirected me to another staff member, citing the need to serve the next customer in line. This experience left me feeling frustrated and disappointed with the poor customer service provided by a supervisor at the store.nI urge the management team to address this issue and ensure that all employees, especially supervisors, are adequately trained and equipped to assist customers effectively. It is essential to uphold high standards of customer service to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
I usually love Harris Farm: have been shopping here weekly for the best veggies and fruit in the neighbourhood. Sadly, today I walked in to see that Harris Farm is selling israeli dates. Incredibly upsetting to see that Harris Farm is selling products from a state committing atrocious crimes against humanity. This is also a recent addition : Harris Farm Drummoyne used to only sell american and Mexican dates.nnIf this isn't rectified, I will need to take my business elsewhere and will encourage friends and family to do the same. So disappointed: this made me feel unpleasant and unsafe, knowing that my local shop condones this.
