This is heaven for any bibliophile, the opportunity to rummage throw what can only be described as the best second hand bookshop in the country. The quirky store is a maze of small rooms and old staircases that lead you through the labyrinth of shelves brimming with books old and new. Since my last visit a few years ago, they have tidied the store up somewhat, making it easier than ever to dig through the treasure trove. The staff here are not over friendly I found, or maybe they were particularly busy on the day I visited. They came across a little grumpy and seemed put out that I did not know the rule that large bags go behind the counter. I was more than happy to oblige but got a Tut tut from one of them all the same. I made sure to smile extra wide when I handed my books over for purchasing, but got a sullen face in return.
