We are a community-owned co-operative working together to support local, organic, fair trade and wholefoods producers and make these products available to you.

Story

We are proud to have been serving our community for 5 years as the Harbour Co-op and 10 years as a store on Lyttelton's famous London Street.

What was once Lyttel Piko is now a community-owned co-operative. This means that you, the customers of the Harbour Co-op can buy shares in the shop and become member-owners. The benefits of becoming an owner include monthly discounts, savings on selected items, bulk buying discounts, access to workshops and seminars and open sharing of information. But most importantly, you are able to have a direct say in how the shop is run. All member-owners have an equal vote on major issues and will elect a board of directors which will steer and oversee the operations of the business.
