I wasn't sure how Louie my rescue staffy was going to go in a different environment with a whole bunch of other dogs and people. But the staff at Happy Paws have been great and have put to rest all my concerns. They have been really good to Louie and have made it easy for me when I need someone to look after him since they don't require bookings or anything. Thanks so much to all of you at Happy Paws Fitness.
Absolutely love Happy Paws Fitness for my dog George. They are professional, caring, reasonably priced and they treat every pup as if it were their own. I love the pick up drop off service they provide for my convenience. 10/10 Happy Paws Fitness! I confidently recommend you.
My dog, Chelsea has been coming here since she was 12 weeks old, and she loves going to 'school' a couple of days a week! She has so much fun playing all day with the other dogs, and she comes home exhausted. The staff are incredible and treat each dog like their own. Would recommend Happy Paws to anyone :
The team at Happy Paws Fitness are very dedicated. They've been in the area for years and always well patronised. I've just recently gotten a puppy and they've been extremely helpful in assisting with getting the right puppy school, as well were able to provide a flea and tick bath so we can start to socialise her. When you walk in, the day car dogs are all happy and well behaved.
My fur-baby Frankie loves Happy Paws Fitness so much she drags me up the hill to get there! The team have been so wonderful - they picked up and dropped Frankie off when I had an operation and couldn't walk her. Frankie just loves the team, especially Sam, Lolly, Jean, Astrid and Julia. A big thank you to the Happy Paws team from Frankie and me.
Happy Paws Fitness is a treasured part of my dog's life. Coming from a quiet household, Bonnie loves her time socialising with both her two and four legged friends and I appreciate the caring and commitment shown by every staff member.
Happy Paws provide a fantastic service and they are one of the best and most honest businesses I have ever dealt with. The staff are excellent and they regularly go above and beyond to make our lives easier. I wouldn't trust the negative reviews here as they are not reflective at all of the awesome small business these guys have.
In response to a review by Ash Quig ... My name is Julia Ward and I am the owner of Happy Paws Fitness, a doggy day care centre in Darlinghurst. Contrary to your claims, I have never met you, I have never met your dog and as far as I am aware, you have never visited our facility. The incident that you refer to is entirely false and is highly defamatory. I have never spoken to you on the phone and we don't have fences in our facility that are accessible for clients to jump over. I have never co-ordinated for your vet bills to be paid, and I certainly haven't ever offered you money. We have also never had a staffy attack another dog in our facility. I took over the Happy Paws Fitness business in 2013 from the previous owner - Amy Tresidder - who now owns and operates a dog walking and dog sitting business called "The Dog Coach". Perhaps the alleged incident you refer to happened prior to 2013? In which case, I would encourage you to direct your complaints to her directly. In the meantime, I have instructed my lawyers to subpoena Google to identify the IP address with which your review was written, so that you may be identified and sued for your defamatory statements. Indeed, there are methods by which people who create fake accounts and make defamatory statements can be pursued. Until this happens, I would encourage you to publicly retract your statements as false and untrue. We are a small local business that prides ourselves on the fantastic care that we provide our customers and their pups. False reviews, such as yours, are clearly designed to unjustly damage our reputation for what reason, I do not know and cause loss.
My 10 month old puppy went there and when I picked him up and thank god I was there because the girl working there was absolutely useless and I hate to think what would have happened to my dog if I wasn't there! A staffy attacked my dog and had him in a lock jaw around his head. The worker was screaming trying to pull the staffy off which was doing absolutely nothing when a staffy has lock jaw! I jumped the fence and it was only because I kept kicking the staffy as the vet said, I must have kicked his throat-one of the only ways they will release lockjaw the girl was very apologetic and said she was just a uni student working there so didn't know what to do!the owner called me to apologize and give me my money back for the day. She also said they never normally take Staffies because they are so unpredictable but that one had been there since it was a puppy and had never done it before.....this was after she said Staffies are unpredictable! The owner of the Staffie paid my dogs medical bills but my dog has not been the same since. I would not recommend this place as they let 'unpredictable' dogs go there and there staff are not trained at all!
The staff are kind and very caring, they take such excellent care of our puppy, we feel at ease with him in their care. They are really reliable and open early, until late.
