The best salon ever! Have had my hair cut by Beth a few times and have loved it every time, I recommend to her everyone. She always understands exactly what I want & the music, atmosphere and energy that Beth gives off makes it such an enjoyable experience, I always look forward to going back. Couldn’t recommend happy endings enough!
Beth is an absolute legend, I always get compliments on how great my hair looks. My boyfriend and I have been getting our hair cut by her for years. She’s very experienced and always exceeds my expectations when I show her a style I’d like to achieve. She has lived and worked in the Surry Hills community a long time and she’s very knowledgeable about the area. She keeps snacks in her salon for the local dogs, which I love. Her new salon is delightful too, with plants, artworks and original shop fittings from the barber who was there before her. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.Service: Hairstyling
A little over a year ago, I came to Happy Endings a wronged woman. Or maybe like a mangy stray dog is more apt. A different salon had burned me: quite literally, burned a bunch of my hair off by processing my bleach under a heat lamp. My head was a horror show many other hairdressers probly wouldn’t have dared touch. Or they would’ve tried to convince me to give up on my platinum blonde dream, condemning me to a life as a brunette. But not Beth. She could see the blunders they’d made and would not repeat them. Every time she carefully applies my Olaplexed bleach, never overlapping, she restores my faith in hairdressers, and possibly humanity. Like a once scruffy, untrusting mutt flourishes in a happy home, so too has my hair. Just the other week I was told “your hair is the best and the healthiest I’ve seen it in four years”. The broken bits have mostly grown out and my hair feels thick for the first time in forever. I feel like a glamorous poodle on my way to winning best in show. If you’re blonde, don’t bother with those big name ‘blonde specialist’ salons, go to Happy Endings cos I promise you’ll get one.Service: Hair coloring
Beth provides exceptional & professional services. I walk out feeling on top of the world, she listens & creates colour & style magic. My very straight hair bounces out the door, she uses the ‘old school’ hair brush left in technic to curl my hair and the bounce stays for days. Luxury!Services: Hairstyling
Best hairdressing salon in Redfern, in fact best anywhere! I found Daniel through a friend whose hair I had been admiring for a while. And Happy Endings did not disappoint! Daniel is a fantastic colourist and cutter, a rare combination in my experience. Better still, the salon is run by a brother and sister team of Daniel and Beth, both great hairdressers who can step in for each other, so never a problem getting an appointment. Close to Surry Hills too, so easy to get there whether driving or using public transport. And best of all, try and book for a day Bertie the dog is in the shop. Great emotional regulator if you are stressed.
Absolutely love my hair colour. These guys do amazing work for a super affordable price. I've had many Balayages over the years and Daniel is the only colourist I've had who's good enough to paint on bleach without foils. He also delivered the exact shade of blue I gave in my reference image. Nice. It's both the cheapest and best hair colour I've had in Sydney. Just cause you on a budget doesn't mean you can't have cool hair. Stop your stressing and just get your hair done here forever-- y'all know I am.
Daniel and Beth are amazing for both cut and color. Daniel has been looking after my locks for over 15 years and I’ve followed him to various salons, he is the best. Salon is cute and quirky and parking is normally quite easy. Couldn’t recommend Daniel and Happy Endings highly enough.
