Absolutely delicious dinner at Hanuman with the family. I first dined here 20 years ago and I must say it’s still just as consistent and impressive. The signature oysters were a favourite then and it did not disappoint 2 decades later. A generous serve of the signature prawns hit the spot in a spicy, fragrant curry sauce. My only gripe is with the Paloma Margarita cocktail I ordered , instead of the fresh raspberries noted in the menu they used raspberry syrup which ruined the delicate flavours of the cocktail with its artificial sickly sweetness and overpowering flavour. Other than that, the food, accompaniments and drinks were fantastic.
The food was good . But the service and vibe were excellent. We were in Alice spring for 3 nights . And this restaurant came highly recommended by locals we met and tour guides . So we decided to check it out on final night. We dint have prior reservations so had tonWait at the bar for a while . The place was packed with locals and tourists alike. Reservation is recommended. The choice of food in menu was amazing . Enough vegetarian options . Food was good . The host was extremely cooperative and our server was very attentive. Excellent experience. Drinks were okay. Overall a v good experience. Would definitely recommend.
Hanuman in Alice Springs is the best Thai restaurant I have ever visited. The food is simply amazing, with authentic and flavorful dishes that are beautifully presented. The ambiance is lovely and inviting, perfect for both large gatherings and intimate meals. The friendly and professional staff managed our group of 20 to 40 people effortlessly, making everyone feel welcome. The experience was so exceptional that I returned on my own on the last day of my stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for outstanding Thai cuisine in Alice Springs.
The food and service here were great! Our server Henri did an excellent job and was super helpful and friendly the whole night. The green apple martini was very yummy as was the pad Thai chicken!
Lovily pace to be and been greeted as you enter. Lots of staff around to help customer and noone looked stressed out.nnIt is expensive but quality of food and service is wonderful. Even the chef made special order . Thabks for doingnIt is disability friendly and let us sit where my son felt comfortable the menu was chicken cashew yummy flavoured and cook to perfection,, , jasmine rice was in high demand my son had two bowls. Record for him. Roti not that good it was rubbery and chicken noodle taste good but dev rejected it as not noodle the reason the noodles were small pieces . Well the chef has mentioned he can cook as demanded and next visit he will try and make noodle where dev would say yes.
