A favourite dining experience for locals and visitors since 2001. Hanuman Alice Springs is conveniently located inside the Crowne Plaza Hotel, a 5 minute drive from the centre of town.

Really good Indian food! Very authentic. Staff were also very friendly. We also managed to take the food away which is nice when you can’t finish it all. All dishes we ordered were great!

Finding it hard to justify the second star. Barra dish was served near room temperature. Seemed boiled. Struggled to get a staff member to pay the bill. Maybe they have better dishes. There’s the second star. Hope.

The food amazing however I was absolutely shocked with the terrible service. Having lived in Alice for 10 years, you can imagine that I've visited a few times. The service has never been so poor. We took our parents out to dinner before returning interstate. We ordered drinks, the cider was incorrect on menu and the post mix was flat. We ordered entrees and mains at 7pm (the latest), entree arrived at 7.30 with mains not appearing until 8.40, and two main meals were waited on for another 10 minutes. It was rather frustrating and honestly left a damp feel to the evening.

The food was really good and well seasoned but the service was poor and beneath contempt. They served us a beer we didn't order; after pointing it out the waitress corrected her mistake though. We were a company of 4 and we ordered one main dish each. It took 30 minutes before the first dish arrived and the last dish reached the table after 1 hour, the rest of us had finished our meals at that point. The waitress presented a dish containing meat as the vegetarian option which is totally unexpected.

Yummy food! Everything was good! Bookings are a must as the place was packed by dinner time. Probably the most decent meal I had in Alice!
