Every time when we come to this area, we would like to have meals here. It has multiple choices on the Vietnamese food. I like the rice noodles and Vietnamese coffee, which reminds me wonderful memories of the time I travelled in Vietnam. Of course, the chili sauce is the most special one. Appreciate the great food and flavor!
Loved the chicken rice and the second time we had this. Fragrant rice and tender chicken with small bowl of soup always hit the spot. Tried curry noddles and Sago dessert, which were pretty good too. Good Customer service overall its a nice place to dine in.
Can’t say it was the best Pho I have had TBH. The broth lacked body, and hence flavour, and the beef tasted boiled. The combination pho dish did not come with tripe and usual bits either which is disappointing AND I had to ask for lemon and Vietnamese Basil and still only got the lemon. For this price I should be getting wagyu ‘tai’ strips! The traditional fried spring rolls were delicious tho and must purchase.
17/05/23 - Pho here is average the only thing that’s outstanding about Hansan soup is their rice noodles. Enjoyed their Hainanese chicken rice & vegetable spring rolls. Quick service & great seating availability. 21/05/23 - Had a nice Sunday lunch with hubby. He had his mixed beef rice noodle soup, we both had Hainanese chicken rice, prawn salad & vegetable spring rolls. Car park was full today, so was the restaurant however there was still enough seats for everyone!
I have been coming to Han San in Ellerslie for over 15 years and can highly recommend it. A couple of favorite dishes are the S11 prawn dish, the chicken curry and the vegetarian spring rolls which are a must try. Very friendly staff and great food with quick service. Great Vietnamese restaurant. Food delicious, especially the spring rolls and sauce. Staff friendly and food always comes out quick no matter how busy it is.
Our friend recommended this shop. So, I scored this for 1 star, I have the reasons 1. Clean and looks nice, also easy to park the car 2. Food looks beautiful and eatable. I feel this foods is not Vietnamese. We got Banh mi M03 doesn't describe have pate in the menus. We asked for changes new one. FoH said all the sauce is the same next time if you don't want, please write on it your order. Sorry man why don't you write on ur menu and why you need to defend us back ??? Then they changed and new one come. Just soy sace on it and the bread is stale. It's so disappointing. I will say to my friend you are wrong. You should go to real and better Vietnamese shop. Anyway, thank you to FoH for be kind and try to fixed and ask for take away.
Hanging out for bubble tea, we ordered 2 to takeaway. Flavour wise, one of the best we have had but size was really disappointing, I've never had one so small before and I think they were $8.50 each.
Great Food, parking can be challanging depending on the time of day.Food: 5/5
FOOD We have dined here twice; and although the first visit was amazing, some of the dishes curry and lemon grass pork cutlets we ordered the second time around were not as delicious and appeared to be a bit lightly seasoned compared to our first lunch visit. This was contrary to the spring rolls A01 and lemon grass chicken with noodle soup C12, which were both consistently yummy. The former had a slight crunch with an added texture as it is wrapped in lettuce and the latter was refreshingly light. CUSTOMER SERVICE Average. Servers were generally friendly. Some aspects of it were self-service AMBIENCE Pretty much what you’d expect from an eatery, but is spacious and ambience can be warm as most diners are friends or families.
