Hangar Art

Had two canvas oil paintings re-stretchedas I brought them back from Asia rolled up and framed. I was well looked after with both pieces. I have another on its way and will definitely be taking it back here to be stretched and framed. Fiancé and I are very happy with them.

In addition to imaginatively curated exhibitions, artist's talks, & lively openings, they provide a thoughtful framing service , selecting from an eclectic collection of both contemporary and vintage styles, for the perfect match to the art work presented. I came in Hangar Frames and Gallery to choose and order quite expensive picture frame. I could not decided during my first visit what frame to choose and visited the shop second time. I asked for catalogues from the owner to look through them in their shop. After 5 minutes of watching the owner of this place told me exactly this: "You know there are other frame places in Whangarei. You are coming here already second time - it takes you too long to choose a frame. You are wasting our time". That was the worst customer service I've ever had. Will not go there again and would not recommend anyone to do so. Angelika

Best framers In Whangarei, efficient with knowledge to bring your artwork to life. They also have a great little art gallery to delight you.

Used this company several times now for framing, always high quality finish. Are very busy, be prepared to wait several weeks for the work to be completed.

Very bad service. I wanted to get some pictures framed and when I asked was told 'let's not waste time' and to come back another time because they were closing for a holiday soon. I won't be going back.
