The restaurant has a homey vibe to it as there are plenty of their family photos decorated on the wall. Even though most people had the marinated raw crabs on their table but we decided just to try two of their main dishes with rice. The first one is spicy baby octopus stir fry - such a flavourful dish with abundant of baby octopus and vegetables. The seafood soft tofu soup is okay but nothing too special about it. What I enjoyed the most was the authentic rice cooked with black beans ? that tastes healthy and delicious with the plentiful side dishes. The restaurant is owned and run by a family so you could really taste the homemade flavours of the dishes. Would definitely be back to try again. Cards surcharge applied.
Beautiful family owned business. First impression was warm and pleasant, it felt like home. The food was really good definitely recommend the spicy raw crabs. I will definitely be back
This restaurant is family owned and run with Mama Park cooking in the kitchen. It has a really cosy/homely vibe with family photos on the wall. The service is great and they’re really accommodating - it literally feels like going to my auntie’s house. Great location - we parked at Strathfield Plaza 3 hours free which is just across the road. There’s another parking lot a few metres away or it’s a 2 min walk from Strathfield station. We tried most of the dishes based on recommendations from the staff and it did not disappoint. Food was so delicious and the sides were plentiful. Will definitely be back!
Service was Ok. Tried to make conversation with the man about the photos on the wall but he brushed me off. The younger waiter was friendly. Food was OK. We ordered Beef rib soup, japchae and bossam. Bossam was missing accompanying Chinese cabbage and pickles to wrap. The servings are on the smaller side.
Colourful, fresh and delicious! Both dishes were perfect to enjoy on the hot summer day. The cold noodles were super yummy with a kick of spice! You can also add a little mustard and/ or vinegar for an elevated flavour profile. I’m glad I tried the beef tartare bibimbap which was chosen based on the highly rated google reviews. The red gochujang ? sauce was pretty mild. Highly recommend both dishes y’all
Came here to try the raw marinated crab. Ended up getting both the soy and spicy version, the soy is definitely my fave. Sweet and fresh crab with a delicate and flavourful soy marinade. We also got the cheesy spicy chicken which was great too. Will definitely be back!
We ordered a hotpot and their signature soy marinated raw crab ganjang-gejang. The crab was delicious especially with the multigrain rice and banchan. The old man was lovely not sure why other reviewers say he is rude - probably they don't understand him. He took effort to give my 4yo a kid spoon, and asked if kids wanted to try some Korean sodas.
Excellent Korean restaurant. Very homely and great friendly service from staff. Food was amazingly good. Well presented and delicious. Nice dining atmosphere. Everything was great.
We dined as a family of 4 and wanted to try something different other than your standard “Korean BBQ”. We tried the Bossam braised/steamed pork belly with assorted veggies, Spicy Braised Beef Ribs my favourite!, Raw Soy Prawns and spicy crab which were all really flavoursome with the perfect amount of spice! We loved the variety of the side dishes which all went well together with our mains. Overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience - plenty of parking near by, staff were knowledge about the menu and food my pet peeve when they don’t! and food was divine!
Great food with amazing service, the old man that serves us was so nice and attentive with our table we felt like a guests at someone's home for sure.. Love the bossam so much, I will be back just for it but can't say the same for the raw soy crab, it was pretty average and quite salty
