Casual, minimalist, Chinese café . I enjoyed hand made noodles topped with chicken. I was not expecting it to be so spicy but it was quite delicious and very filling. I’m told the eggplant dumplings are worth going back for. Very laid back staff - no frills at all - and I had to ask for a spoon as I couldn’t manage the broth with chopsticks. I’d say 4 for my meal and 3 for staff, service and general ambiance. 3.5 overall.
We had lunch here after City2Surf. Small place, It was very busy. We ordered noodles, all food came in 10minutes. Most noodles were salty but manageable. My noodle had a piece of plastic. It may have been a honest lapse but they do need to take more care as it could have been dangerous for kids.
It was a stormy night, the rain felt like little needles against my face, the strong winds blew me right into the front door of Handmade Noodle & Dumpling Kitchen. And boy was I blown away. We ordered a chicken fried rice with sizzling Mongolian beef and boy was it amazing. The food came out extremely quick and it was some of the best Chinese fried rice we’ve ever had the pleasure of putting in our mouths. The Mongolian beef was sweet and delicious. The combination is almost too good. The service was incredible as we were offered complimentary tea which was delightful. Lovely family owned restaurant I would highly recommend! The tantalising tastes on my tastebuds left me transformed.

Really bad experience , I ask for food non spicy and they send to me a noddles really spicy and I’m a chef and I thing they have a problem whit the cumin is like eat cumin spicy all the time , the badest noddles then I ask the waitress about and I let them know what happen , and for my sorprise the answer is that they can not change or replace the food and if I need a food I need to pay for another item! So finally all the plate in the rubish and I waist my money ‍ The teriyaki rice really good and also the dumplings
To be honest it'd clean, fresh and the flavours are amazing if your in Bondi Beach or feel like noodles and dumplings this is the place to go. The staff are friendly helpful and take pride in what they do. The noodles and dumplings are made as you order and definitely worth waiting for if they are busy. It's a big call but I'd say the best in Eastern suburbs and Sydney
Got the pan fried pork and chive dumplings , and hand made dry noodle with chilli sauce. The food tasted really great! And you could see them make the noodles as you wait for your food. It was a bit busy so they did not get back to requests we had like extra plates and such, bit understandable. The water they provided did have a oily film which was weird. Overall tasty food! Would come back to try more of what they have to offer. Kid-friendliness: They had booster chair for kids. There was a screaming baby behind us, but nothing they could do about that.

The food was super delicious and everything was handmade, we could literally see the food being prepared fresh. Dumplings were also rolled fresh! Very happy to have chosen this place over other options on Bondi beach.
Granted they were very busy but wiping a table after it was cleared is standard in hospitality. We asked multiple times for our table to be wiped and our food came before it got cleaned. Paid $20 for a chinese broccoli dish that came half warm half cold and chewy. They said it was meant to be cold...hmm. They served it without cutlery, we had help ourselves. The only reason they got 2 stars is that they redeemed themselves with dumplings that actually tasted nice.
