Hancookwan Korean BBQ Buffet Restaurant

Initially I wrote this place off simply because they were in Willetton, but I was very wrong to do so. The range of the buffet and the quality of the food is very well worth the price that you pay. The staff are friendly and the ventilation system is half decent so you don’t walk out smelling entirely like a pork chop. The regularly restock the buffet at dinner so it was easy to keep going back and finding what we wanted to eat. Even the cooked food at the buffet was actually quite decent. For the price - I definitely think this is a great place for kbbq, no need to travel to vic park or the city to have a good experience.

Absolutely wonderful experience with Hancookwan everytimes we came! Great selection of meats, cooked foods, fried chicken, and the salads! Love the salads very much. The refilled of foods were fast everytimes. And the services were great! They were quick to response to our request. Special thanks to the young men who served our table last night, he was really funny and caring and here we go! Our promised 5 stars review more to come! And always make sure you reconfirm your booking with them on the day you are coming. It's a very busy restaurant who offered very attractive price for their good selection of buffet we want them to keep making money so we can keep on supporting them for many many years!

Place for Youngsters and Hanging out! Great ambience.. Helpful Team.. Endless Buffet of Food! I would suggest price is OK for a Buffet, but maybe really prepare yourself to eat a lot before coming. Somewhat I personally feel that this is not the typical Korean BBQ if you’ve been around trying a lot of different KorBBQ, because service and products are personalized for Hancookwan. Do not get too late when you visit or you’ll find yourself in a waiting queue and/or some of the food might get replenished slower.

AMAZING Korean BBQ, great cuts of meat, excellent sides kimchi was the best I've had. It had a great atmosphere with all the charcoal cooking and the smell of all the cooking meat. Then to top it off an dessert bar with nice cakes, custard and ice cream. Loved this place so much.

Food was great, variety was worth the price. Meats were tasty as they were well marinated. Charcoal fire with non stick grill pan was brilliant as food did not stick and grease drained away. Environment was nice and spacious. BBQ smoke extractors worked well to keep the place reasonably smoke free. Self help buffet counters were replenished frequently. Service staff were discreet yet attentive. Tea, coffee and desert were a nice way to finish off the meal. Well Done Hancookwan!

Worst service ever. They even kicked my friend’s chair because he left the seat. Hope waiters can make your customers feel safe when you’re handling very hot things. rather than overconfidence

Had an enjoyable dinner here. The food was fresh and tasted great. Staff were friendly and efficient at clearing the used plates. Not sure if I didn't see it, but would've been great if this place serves makgeolli or soju. But then I'm sure people would stay past their allocated 2 hour slot. Would come back again and skip all side dishes and just have the BBQ! Pork belly is the best to me!

The Hancookwan team offer and maintain a warm, friendly, efficient and professional service with a smile The food variety is plentiful and I guess it needs to be as it is "buffet style" with great quality Wonderful environment to dine in. So many friends and family enjoying great food and drinks together Its a great place to go and really relax and enjoy I have recommended to many friends and family who have been, some more than 3 times in two weeks

Had dinner with a couple of my mates the other night. The food and the service team is great. Drive past here almost everyday for work. Didn't know this place existed until recently. It's really cheap too. The lady at the front counter is really friendly and have a vibrant smile . Made us feel welcomed as we enter the venue. Will definitely be coming back.
