Han's Cafe holds a special place in our hearts as an old favorite, and our recent visit reaffirmed why. We were fortunate to secure a cozy window seat overlooking the tranquil canal, setting the perfect ambiance for our afternoon. To start, we opted for a shared entree, and it was a delightful precursor to the main course. I chose the Beef Red Curry Rice, and it exceeded my expectations. The aromatic blend of spices in the curry infused the tender beef, creating a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. Each bite was a savory delight that left me craving more. My wife, on the other hand, selected the Beef Basil Rice, and it turned out to be an exceptional choice. She couldn't stop singing its praises throughout the meal. The succulent beef combined with the vibrant basil and fragrant spices left an indelible mark on her taste buds. In our culinary adventures, we've visited numerous restaurants, but this particular Han's Cafe stands out as the best we've encountered in a very long time. The impeccable quality of the food, the picturesque view, and the overall dining experience make it a place we'll continue to cherish and frequent for years to come.
Nice dining experience with the family. Taste, quality and price of food are good. Friendly staff and quick service. Servings are generous, good enough for sharing. Their fish golden is a must try.Food: 3/5
Excellent value for money. Delicious food. We ordered a Seafood Salad and Mixed Starter, followed by a beautiful Red Curry & Rice. Superb service with a smile. Didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive & it was all cooked to perfection. Will definitely go to Hans Mandurah again.
Very tasty satay chicken and vege curry! Wonderful service by friendly staff, happy to have a chat and a laugh - a rarity amongst chain restaurants, and shows a real care for their craft and job. Diverse gluten free options too! Will definitely be coming back!
After enjoying the dolphin cruise through the Mandurah city’s inland waterways, we had our lunch here. Nice place for dine in. We ordered chicken fried rice, seafood fried rice, green curry chicken, pad thai, lightly fried marinated mutton toasted in tasty garlic sauce, potato fries with tomato ketchup and prawn crackers. They served us tasty food at a reasonable price.
Ordered the $24 Battered Fish , I took off the batter to eat the meat, it was 95 % batter 5% meat .Tasted so sugary it could pass for a desert . Doors were left wide open , was shooing flies of constantly. They could've installed a blue light zapper for insects . Toilets were filthy . Has Hans dropped their standards ? Service was good .
It’s been over 10 years since I’ve been to Hans Cafe Mandurah and I got to say it disgusting. The only 2 vegetables in the dishes were 1/2 a tomato and uncooked white onion. If I could I would only give the place realistically a GIANT 0!!! Had only 2 staff on board and the service can I say was horrendous and it really wasn’t too busy, except if you can talk about the Uber drivers coming in and out continually. Dirty dishes every where, tables not cleared or wiped down properly, dirty utensils and no decent napkins unless you like them see through. And to top it off found several short straight black hairs in the bottom of the food, I have auburn hair and the other lady I was with had blonde hair. Extremely expensive with ridiculous pricing $78 dollars for 2lemonades, 2 dishes and 2 rice and some spring rolls, what the hell. Spend your hard earned dollars somewhere else that’s worth eating. Hans used to be one of my favorite places for a cheap meal but the quality has gone down a bit. I ordered a red curry and I got a green curry which was mostly chicken with one piece of broccoli, i would have liked some more veggies. Overall the food was ok even though I didnt get what I ordered.
Ordered pad thai, chicken tasted off and the noodles seemed to be vermenicilli. They did put a few chillis in there to make it look fresh but used spring onions inside of garlic chives and no peanuts. Overall it tasted really bad, hence my review.
VERY BUSY, WAITED IN LINE TO BE SEATED 10 MINS, FELT SQUASHED IN A SIDE TABLE NEAR WINDOW AND OUR DRINKS CAME HALFWAY THRU OUR MEAL WAS EATEN, WHICH WAS 45MINS FOR DRINKS. THE FOOD WAS GREAT. I WISH THEY DIDN'T BLOCK UPSTAIRSFood: 5/5
