We had a wonderful experience tonight. It was our first time to have dinner at the hotel. Food was very nice and tasty. Service was great. Portions are quite big. It's a very generous place! Above all, the staff are AMAZING!! a big thank you to Helen and Toni for their lovely hospitality and kindness. Would definitely go back again. Highly recommend this place.
I came here with my family to celebrate my Birthday after checking out their $20 Wednesday Schnitzel deal online. I was pleasantly surprised with the generosity of spirit!! It was excellent value for money considering our schnitzel sizes were massive and we had full access to a salad/veggie bar - which you don't often see nowadays. The salad/veggie bar included a potato bake, deliciously seasoned vegetables, pasta salad, chickpea salad and more! The produce was so fresh and it was an excellent way to add your desired side dish to the schnitzel which also came with chips! The atmosphere was quite lovely and the service was exceptional after having some really nice interactions with the bar staff and servers. Additionally, after having booked the table for my Birthday, the staff made sure that my Birthday was indeed acknowledged and I found that to be a lovely touch. I left the Hampstead Hotel, having a wonderful birthday experience feeling very special! I am definitely coming back here again. Thank you!
We have dinner here occasionally and really enjoy it. Last night I ordered the rump steak and when I tell you it was tender, oh my, it was so tender and juicy I was literally able to cut it with my fork. It melted in my mouth and was as soft as marshmallow. The veggie bar is also delicious. The salads have real flavour eg chic pea salad and beetroot are my favourites. The carrots and potatoes are awesome. Hot bread rolls. Yum. My only wish would be for them to include a seafood salad and then it would get double the stars. Oh their soups are always the tastiest. Love them with the salad bar too.nAnyhoo. Get yourself there and you won’t be disappointed. The staff will make you feel welcome and they make a great lemon lime and bitter.
We usually celebrate our Birthday lunches at the Hampstead Hotel because of the friendly atmosphere, the attentive staff and the delicious food. The salad and veggie bar always have a good selection. Toni usually serves us and she is a gem .She patiently takes photos of us all to remember the day. We highly recommend the Hampstead Hotel.
I went for lunch with a group of friends. There were not many people in restaurant apart from us. I ordered Barramundi and most of my group had finished their lunches before it arrived. The fish was delicious however for $36 I would have expected fries to come with it, but no, just a bit of sauce and a bit of spinach. Very disappointing! Overpriced, even the seniors meals are more espensive than at other hotels.
