Went in there because I was hosting a dinner party that night and I am not a big meat eater/cooker. When I do eat meat I try to make sure it is ethically sourced and good quality. I asked for some Mediterranean lamb with fresh herbs because I had bought it from Hampshire before, and the butcher went straight out the back and made me up an amazing roast for 6 people and told me how to cook it. It was absolutely f**king amazing. So moist and perfectly medium rare. I also got some prosciutto to wrap asparagus in, fried it up and put it on the antipasto board. My guests loved it : well done boys!!
I had a concern with the quality of their 60 day dry aged Rib, so I emailed them with my issue which was minor to be fair, but legitimate under the circumstances . To my surprise I received a lengthy response outlining possible causes and a generous offing of a total replacement whenever I would like to visit them next. Wow, it's refreshing it is to see a company care about their reputation and their quality products, well done Hampshire, thank you. I will be back as the product is exceptional overall.
Excellent quality meat with great variety of choice. Filet steak is the best we have found and the same price as supermarkets. Highly recommend.
