Hammond Seafoods would have to be one of the Best Fish and Chips and Seafood Shops in Tasmania.nPrice wise they are excellent and Taste Wise Fantastic.nCan't go wrong, if you haven't been, do yourself a favor and go there now.
We came here twice during our short stay in Launceston. The oysters were fresh and very good, crumbed scallops were small but delicious cooked fresh and the mornay scallop pie was great!
Great selection of seafood. Had a dozen of fresh oyster and a couple fresh scallops on the spots. Full of freshness and delicious. Highly recommended!
I am afraid that the Lobster roll, @ $22 didnt pass the Pub test. No flavour of Lobster, just dill, a better option would be a few medallions of Lobster, not shredded, less dill & lettuce. It looked appealing..... expensive. Only $14 on their menu?
My son and I bought seafood pack for two.nThe serving was great, the flake and other seafood cooked to perfection and the chips the best i have had, id say Ever!, crunchy and light. And fresh cut lemon and a tartar sauce with it.! A Fair price.nI WILL be back for more!nBeautiful and fresh. Thank you Hammonds
