My partner's ashes are interred here. It is a beautiful quiet place well away from the main road so no sound of traffic. I myself will go here one day in the future. I was very pleased with the environment and the solitude and peace.
Eileen thank you I now live in Australia, my only brother died in 1966, buried at NewStead Cemetery, I asked can I have a photo or his headstone, thinking hello this is the council, they will be too busy for my request, they said we will get back to you in one day, okay, still not confident, NEXT DAY, I got the picture of headstone, the surroundings, it was just amazing, Eileen you took time out for me, I will always be grateful, if this worked, I plan to get the head stone re done, but no need, as Eileen rightly commented, it looked great, hey 50 yrs. Aren't I lucky
Nice, cared for cemetery, staff are courteous and respectful, services are always professional and they are knowledgeable in the field of burials and cremations.
A beautiful quiet place to reflect over your loved one. Well maintained grounds and spacious areas.
Beautifully maintained in general however.....maintenance around headstones needs to be done on a regular basis ie clearing away over-grown grass.
Beautiful setting. Well kept and groomed gardens. Restful and welcoming.
Sheltered from the busy main road, lovely trees, a fine resting place.
