Tubing Tubing is one of the most interesting activity in Hamilton Island. The Hamilton Island Water sports team is very accommodative. We were late as a result of delay in lunch but still the team manage to accommodate all of us almost 16 people for this activity. The Tubing is full of thrill. Luckily the boat operator allowed a person to seat in the boat who can capture our awesome photos and videos. The fast boat, the trill of tubing and jumping in the water yes, if you loose grip, you jump in the water was amazing experience. Do not miss this activity if you are stating @ Hamilton Island.
Did the full day Whitsundays snorkel and so worth it! Able to spend a good amount of time snorkelling as well as walking around at a relaxing pace. The staff were all very friendly and informative and we got very lucky with the weather.
The Reef Ryder full day is a brilliant experience and probably the best value for money tour on the Island. The captain Paul was great and is able to use 8 years of knowledge of the islands to change plans around weather/wind and even movie sets getting in the way! Highly recommend for a full day of 3 beautiful snorkels, multiple beach visits and a relaxing hike.
Wow! we had a blast on our half day tour. Booked at last minute but they kindly put the extra boat on for our party of 15 - Courtney was friendly and helpful with booking and checkins. So much fun and so efficient for our short stay. Kids and adults had so much fun on the journey - Jack and Billy were great crew and we would definitely recommend - in fact we already have.
I was absolutely appalled to see photos and hear the story of my clients experience with Hamilton Island Watersports. They took a day trip to Whitehaven beach and sustained multiple injuries due to the irresponsible boat driving of the young staff. The sea was rough and needed to be treated with caution, instead the young drivers sped over the waves causing injuries to passengers and also causing fear to passengers on board. There were small children on board screaming and crying due to the rough ride. Rough seas are to be navigated responsibly, especially when carrying passengers yet these young skippers did not take this into account. I would never recommend this company to any of my clients and will be encouraging my colleagues to do the same.
Myself, hubby and two teenage daughters LOVED our Jetboating experience with James Jetboat Jimmy. He was enthusiastic and friendly. It was a wild ride, but felt safe the whole time. Kids wanted to go again! Only downfall was even though they had a go pro filming, there was no mention about how to get pics or film.
A faulty fuel pump saw our Chalkies & Whitehaven tour leave an hour later than scheduled, but no effort was made to allow for additional time, despite what we booked and paid for. The provided snorkeling gear with riddled with mould and in terrible condition. The tour guides were phenomenal, but the reply from management Sandy Bourke in response to me raising my concerns was dismissive. Having a monopoly due to limited options on the island, does not excuse poor customer service.
These guys are not reliable at all. Today January 20 January 2023 I got with my husband and daughter 8 years old, a paid booking half day 'Two In One' at 1:30pm to visit Whitehaven beach and go snorkelling off in Chalkies beach. That before coming back to Sydney tomorrow afternoon. Well, they decided to cancelled and refunding the plan mentioning high tides in the zone. I trusted them and came back to our Reef View Hotel. To my surprise checking their arguments see that max tides this afternoon is very low, just 1.6m. I cannot understand what these guys gain leaving a child without an important experience in the great barrier. I absolutely next time book with another and serious agent, even if the price is a bit higher.
5 stars for the Jet Ryder jet boat experience with Jimmy aka Jetboat Jimbo!. He was an excellent driver, very fun and helped put our son who was a bit nervous at ease. Super time had by all. Highly recommended.
I came to Hamilton island with my kids, we decided to try out wakeboarding today. We were all so excited so I called them in the morning to book for wakeboarding, they said they’ll call us back if the weather will be good for it understandable that was at 10 in the morning. We Waited until 4pm with no answer about weather it will be on today and called multiple times. No answer. then finally at 4pm received the news it was booked all out. We never received the call back about it the weather would be good or not. I am highly disappointed as my kids we’re absolutely excited to go and just wasted the whole day distracting them with mini golf waiting for the phone call.
