Largest regional zoo in victoria. A humble zoo where the animals are well loved and looked after. Reasonably priced, the zoo has a layout in a circuit with no back tracking, you can see every exhibit. The staff are helpful and enthusiastic. Great for kids! There are deer and peacocks that roam freely and you may feed the deer! Worth a visit to break up your holiday!

I think zoo and it’s owners are amazing. The animals were obviously well cared for and there was an awesome variety. It is a bit more expensive than mainstream zoos and it could use a lot more shade around the zoo for hot days but the playground, frequent tables and being able to pat and feed a number of animals around the zoo was great and we really enjoyed our day here even though it was way too hot.

We were in the area and took our nephew for his 3rd birthday, they gave us some free food to feed certain animals, which the kids loved. We also got to see the cheetahs being feed again a huge hit. There was a lot of enclosures closed which made some stretches quite a walk in between seeing things, but still had an enjoyable experience.

Enjoyed visit there with my family. You can borrow a pram for the little one for free. It is important to bring your own water and put sunscreen and a hat on because there are not that many places to hide from the sun. Some of the animals were missing while others were hard to spot.

Staff are so lovely and kind. You get to go around and feed certain animals with feed you buy at the entrance. Really well maintained for the size and location. We had a photo taken with the meerkats and it was amazing.
