I want to thank Indi at Hall Payne lawyers for helping me during a very emotional and stressful time. Indi's compassion, expertise and experience guided me through my worker's compensation claim and I could concentrate on my recovery. Being an 'older' worker had challenges of it's own but Indi was reassuring as I was just ready to waIk away. The Insurance Company requested an 'Independent' doctors report which was completely negative even though all medical MRI's etc confirmed the injury was ongoing - all weekly payments was abruptly stopped. He assured me my case was good, gave me time frames, explained the process and that he would walk the road with me. True to his word all went according to how Indi explained the process. As I had to survive financially on Holiday pay, long service leave and built up sick leave I was concerned about payment for services but Indi said Hall Payne Lawyers offer 'NO win NO pay' and the fees were so affordable contrary to what people say. I would urge anyone to not be 'scared off' by the Insurance Companies or their 'Independent Doctors' and get in touch with Indi Gunadasa at Hall Payne Lawyers. Thankyou Indi At Hall Payne lawyers. Indi helped me settle my worker’s compensation claim for a shoulder injury that happened at my place of work. I am in Launceston so never actually got to meet Indi in person but all contact was through phone and emails due to covid as well as distance. Indi listened to me and at no time did I feel I was not going to settle my claim without a good outcome. We settled last month and it was a huge weight lifted . He also gave me advice for the future. When I injured my wrist at work it was a battle from the start with the insurance company.I was incapacitated for about 3 months doing physiotherapy and exercise to try and strengthen my wrist. I was finally able to start a graduated return to work, when suddenly the insurance company decided that my injury was not a work related injury! The whole team at Hall Payne were very helpful, offering a 'No win, No fee' package without having to find any money made it so much easier for me!! Not having worked for some time, I was pretty well broke. Indi Gunadasa guided me through the legal minefield until we came to the tribunal hearing. The Hall Payne team were right beside me at the hearing and Indi hired a fantastic barrister to fight our case. Within 3 hours he put the insurance company in their place along with their lawyer and secured me a substantial payout!! I would recommend Hall Payne Lawyers to anyone in a similar situation. Indi Gundasa looked after my claim over the two years it took to finalise. He was incredible. He took all the worry and workload off me and explained things simply with clarity. Indi and his staff made the two years that I had to wait for my workcover payout tolerable.There seemed to be so much involved that I wouldn’t have been able to deal with it.
