We checked this place out for Father’s Day dinner. It was pretty busy, but the food didn’t disappoint! Service was friendly, just a bit slow—but totally understandable with the crowd. For a restaurant named “Hakka Cuisine”, the “Hakka Yong Tofu” dish we ordered was not particularly outstanding. Many Malaysian restaurants can do it better. All the items we ordered were not bad but we particularly enjoyed the ““ - Sour vegetable Fish soup. That was outstanding. The braised duck with yam was also delicious. The restaurant is busy during the weekends and the restaurant seems under-staffed but service was still good albeit a little slow.
Food taste like home cooking well balanced meal which is good. But noodles taste too bland only taste of wok hei but no salt. Pork belly with wine is good soft n melt in your mouth, duck with taro is also yummy. Beef with balsamic vinegar is also delicious. Dishes are very small portions. Salted egg yolk fried chicken rib is crispy and juicy.

The Braised Duck with taro and Chinese rice wine is plush and aromatic, with that sticky-savoury glaze clinging to the taro like a hug. Proper winter-warmer vibes.nnDon’t miss the stuffed homemade tofu with pork mince—the silken tofu soaks up all the juices, while the mince adds umami chew. And the Braised Pork Belly, done in traditional Hakka fashion, lands rich and mellow, with layers that melt politely rather than shout.nnRound it out with a perfectly steamed fish in special soy and a lively sweet-and-sour pork for balance. Hot restaurant, though—book ahead or risk serious food FOMO.
Driest rice I had this lifetime. Rice for a Chinese restaurant tells a lot. And it’s not good. Dishes are way too salty and sweet…might as well chuck mixture of table salt and sugar. And just look at that vivid green on glutinous rice ball… I hope u get the point.
