Very well priced!! The ramen was really good, and there were free extra noodles as well if you were hungry. Lots of pork which I really loved as it was a good ratio of pork to broth to noodles! There was also really good music playing which upped the atmosphere a bit I really liked it there.
There were two female staff working, so it wasn't very convinced because I had a prejudice that ramen is a food cooked by a male chef. But the ramen at Sunnybank branch tasted pretty good. But the amount was too small. I recommend ordering extra noodles that are given free of charge. The soup was moderately thick and it was a comfortable ramen. Another great advantage is that you can sit and eat with your dog at an outdoor table.
Good ramen and comfort food, non-halal as this is pork-based. This is also perfect if you want to celebrate your birthday as they give you a free Ramen once they confirm your ID with you. Price $14 as per 2023 .. back then in early 2000s it was only $8, This is how inflation has taken in place.
Food definitely tasty, consistent quality every hakataya ramen place that I have ever been. We came just after 1pm and I wish they focus on cleaning the tables and put away dirty dishes as well so that new customers can sit and eat.Food: 5/5
The original ramen shop in Brisbane. Back then it was very well priced, but now falls behind the competition in both quality and value. I would consider this your "shopping centre/food court ramen" which they are. Location is not that great as it sits right on the roundabout of the entrance to the shopping centre. So if you eat outside you'll just eat exhaust and noise. This style of ramen doesn't have egg, so the base version of the ramen Still $16.50 only has like 3 pieces of meat and some seaweed and that's it. Extra noodles used to be unlimited but now restricted to 1 bowl. Parking: Plenty of parking

Great RAMEN! As an expat currently Iiving in Japan with fantastic Ramen walking distance from my house, I do miss this Ramen shop. I've eaten a lot of Ramen in Fukuoka Japan, which is the pork Ramen capital. However I still miss Hakataya Ramen in Brisbane. If u want Japanese authentic tonkotsu taste, this is it! It's truly Fukuoka style n taste. Will definitely visit again when I travel back home.
This ramen joint has been around for years and it's still very popular amongst Asians in Sunnybank. If you like Japanese street style ramen noodle soup, you will like Hakataya Ramen. I really loved the broth used in their spicy miso ramen. It's a balance between the spiciness from the chilli powder and the miso bean curd taste. Extra noodles is still free of charge and you can ask for it when you order your ramen. And I love that they still give out free birthday ramen on your birthday to say thanks to their customers. The staff were all very friendly and approachable with good English communication skills.
Visited after busy lunch, easy to get seating and my ramen came quickly. Nice they give seniors some discount too !
