A very good example of a Hakataya business. Clean, reliable food, and good service. Was inspired to leave a review because I could feel the friendly kindness of the woman who took my order. It set the tone for a very nice dining experience.
Everything is average, but I don't say that in a bad way. Noodles cooked as well as most other places. Broth doesn't have overly deep, complex flavour, but it's not light or lacks flavour either. If google allowed, I would have given 3.5.Food: 3/5
Always have an amazing experience here. It is usually very busy, which is a great thing because the food is amazing! Also Yukie is always smiling and lovely. Highly recommend this place if you are in Indooroopilly. The wait is definitely worth it!!
Ordered a gyoza as a takeaway and I returned in less than one minute to say that it was cold. The guy just shouted at me and argued that he just cooked it - very rude but I didn't bother arguing with him as I didn't want to ruin the night with my family. Very disappointed with the service and will never go back again!!!!
Service when ordering wasn't clear or listening. It was loud being in the food court but i made sure to ask multiple times and get clear yes to my questions. I asked if I could get a drink with ramen, and wsnted a spicy flavour ramen. Service said yes and then put down the meal deal and the ramen that I asked for. I ended up unsure why it cost so much until I got two meals. When I tried to point out that i wanted a drink and spicy ramen, they just nodded and walked away. Ended up with too much food, paying a lot for a meal I didn't want and just unhappy with the lack of understanding. My friend ordered behind me ended up paying more and getting 3 meals even when she contested that it's for one person.
I bought a bowl of ramen with two pieces of pork which are thin like paper, the ramen taste worse than the instant ramen bowl that I bought in Chinese grocery store. I have never had such a bad experience of eating out in my whole life.
Love this place. Been coming here for just under 10 years and it always hits the spot. Staff are always extremely friendly and offer great service. Would give 10 stars if I could.
This is Australian ramen. Let’s be honest with ourselves. Sure, there are some stools around a bar, but Tokyo this ain’t. I would say that if you have a hunger for ramen you should fine one of the more authentic places within Brisbane Taro’s immediately comes to mind, and save yourself from the mediocrity of flavoured water with noodles. Sure, ten years ago this would have been the best ramen in Brisbane without question. But today? No. We have better options. The gyoza were pretty good, and helped to add one star to the review.
Great service and great ramen. Perfect combination. Dishes are well priced and come out pretty quick considering how busy the place gets.
The staff here are so friendly, like the most lovely people EVERY time.. also, the food is delicious and even when it's super busy it's never a long wait for food. We love it here
