Just had my hair cut and coloured at Hair Place today by Vina, and boy it was a fantastic experience right from the moment I stepped foot through the doors! So glad I 'took the risk' of putting my hair in the hands of an unknown salon and hairdresser! Always a bit nerve-racking but really really happy with the results. Vina gave me an amazing hair cut and did a wonderful job on my foils and colour, exactly what I asked for. This review is long overdue. I got my Haircut and Hair colour done in May by Vicky and this was my first time with them. It is needless to say that Vicky was extremely patient and would understand what I exactly wanted from the haircut. I was so happy with the new look so I decided to go back and get the hair colour done. Vicky helped me pick the right hair colour tone for my complexion. The ambiance and the staff is great! I just moved from Europe a month ago and was quite hesitant to try a new hairdresser in Melbourne. I checked Google Reviews, and It turned out that Hair Place might work. All employees were really nice and friendly, and even though I was scared and had a ton of questions, they were calm and walked me through everything that needed to be done with my hair. The result - my yellow hair finally became beautiful and grey! The best part is that it's not damaged, and it looks really nice. As an Asian student, I randomly searched for a place to cut my hair, so I found it here. It really surprised me here. It's amazing! At least for me, I am very satisfied! The stylist is very attentive and will communicate your ideas with you before the haircut, and he will also give his suggestions. Washing of the hair is also very professional, and it enjoyable. When cutting hair, it seems to be a craftsman skill. Overall, this experience is very satisfying; if I keep living in Carnegie, I will always choose here.
