Happened at hair candy Brisbane - Please save yourself your hair and money. I had brunette hair went in to go copper and 2 full heads of hair extensions I had a head of foils put in - my appointment began at 11:15am Not realising they had left the foils in too long they rinsed out and put copper toner on They blow-dried my hair off and said they would be able to match my extensions unaware that they had snapped all my hair all under off from leaving the foils on too long They coloured the extensions and sewed in and did not match at all at this point it is 7pm at night, they said it would fade to match my hair as it did not match. Next day went to go get them taken out no one offered to fix the colour they asked why do I want them removed I said the colour doesn't match my hair at all went home to find all my hair underneath had been completely snapped and my hair is two different lengths on each side They are now offering me a olaplex treatment on my hair and will colour the my extensions to match my hair. I do not want to return to this store as my hair is so severely damaged I do not want there hair extensions to damage my hair any more as it won't blend into my hair as it is so fried. I spent $1799 on this service and now I will have to treat my hair and supplements to repair the damage and the loss of the money I had spent on 2 full heads of extensions that they won't refund on, and saying I have boxed died my hair which has never been done as I go to Oscar Oscar. yes wavier was signed but this is definitely a situation where a customer shouldn't have to pay for something so terrible from there fault of having foils in for hours to have my hair completely snapped....... I am still waiting 3 years later to be compensated for my loss of money and the damage that was caused to my hair. Offering a treatment and products is not okay for the damage to my hair and emotional damage you have caused
Went to Hair Candy Hope Island today to get my extensions taken up and I had the best experience. My stylist Jess was so lovely and efficient. The salon is so clean and tidy, bonus that the music was also great. Will definitely be returning for my future appointments and is somewhere I would recommend to others.
Always wanted to indulge myself and get hair extensions but always found something else to spend the money on. Recently I decided living meant doing things not just because I had to but because I wanted to. I looked and investigated and did my research trying to find a place that I would feel brave enough and confident enough to actually act on my dreams of finally getting extensions. Sounds bizarre I know but I’m no spring chicken Then I found Hair Candy. From the moment I stepped into the salon I felt at ease. Was walked through the options and recommended what best suited my needs. Booked my appointment for two weeks later. All the girls were so lovely. Was made to feel at ease and the whole experience was nothing short of spectacular. The results I have far exceeded my expectations. I am in love All I can say is thank you thank you thank you.
Jess is so lovely and professional, and did the most perfect job with my hair extensions. She gave me exactly what I wanted. I am always greeted warmly and treated with kindness and respect by the team, including Jade who welcomes me so nicely, and Tarlia did a fantastic job with a relaxing hair wash. I can’t wait to be back.

I used to hate going to the hairdresser before I started going to Hair Candy! Now I'm never disappointed when I leave and always have a super positive experience! The hairdressers are friendly, provide quality products and they are amazing at what they do! I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I have been going to HC for the past 3 months, and had previously been a client prior to returning to the coast. The girls at the Hope Island clinic are amazing! Maddi has looked after me each time and has been a wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to have as my stylist. I honestly would just come back for her personality and service. You are always offered a drink of your choosing and looked after like a queen! Highly recommended the girls at HC, thanks for keeping me looking amazing x
I have been coming here for years 2018 although the lack of leniency with deposits is insane. Said I could pay my deposit that afternoon but they gave me a 11am cutoff and cancelled my appointment instead. Might need to get my move ups and future extensions elsewhere unfortunately : it’s been a good couple of years and have had some lovely hairdressers along the way although it seems priorities with the business may have shifted
