I had a Groupon vouched for keratin and reading the T&C's it said there was a surcharge for longer hair. I asked upfront about the costs and the hair dresser was really honest, I was also offered the stronger keratin, more expensive than what the voucher was for. The hairdresser persuaded me to get it as it lasts longer and my hair was quite damaged. She was really polite and lovely to chat to and was a great experience. At the end I was offered products and I declined and said I'd think about it as they are quite expensive, the manager then became involved attempting to push the products as well, I still declined. All over it was a pleasant experience and I'm in love with my hair!
had a voucher for the Keratin treatment. It claims to be organic. My hair actually became dry after the treatment. I went and complaint and they said we will redo the treatment. They also sold me a "better" treatment upgrade. After the second treatment my head was itchy and my hair remained dry. The treatment has completely washed out and was a waste of my $200. The service however was good and the hairdresser a nice girl but the actual product is below standard. Stay away. I have had Keratin done to my hair for a few years now and this was by far the worst. Disappointed!
DO NOT GO HERE! Not happy with the experience at all. Sign on the window said $99 for half head of foils - they ended up charging me $199!!!! I have short hair so I knew I wasn't paying for the length...they charged me $50 for a treatment I never asked for or agreed to, I don't even know when they put this on? They also charged me $50 for a toner which I didn't ask for or know about! Really bad customer service as all they want is your money! The worst part about my experience wasn't the over charging, it was the fact that they took shampoo&conditioner to the checkout and added it on to my bill! I told them I did not want the products and proceeded to pressure me into buying $70 worth of products that I apparently "needed" on my hair. After I said no thank you, they kept trying. I ended up saying I can't afford these as i was told my total would come to $99 and I'm now in fact paying double that! DO NOT GO HERE!!! My highlights are also orange and brassy around my hairline so the job wasn't even done very well! I wish I read these reviews before booking.
I just walked out of a keratin treatment spending more on surcharges than I did on the actual cost of the keratin itself. The girl charged me $39 for thick hair mind you my hair is average. Then she charged me $59 for a better product. On top of all that she wanted me to spend over $200 on product, in front of 5 girls at the counter saying “Are you sure you don’t want to buy any?” I’ll see how my keratin goes but I’m definitely not happy with the hard sell. I don’t want to be in a place which makes me feel tense and awkward. The stylist had really bad dry hair anyway.. not a good sign.
Had a really good experience here. Bought a Groupon voucher for a cut and keratin, wasn't really sure what to expect considering it was my first keratin. So far, the treatment has been wonderful and my cut was also pretty good. I enjoyed the company of the staff, they're professional but are very easy going and made me feel really comfortable from the get go. Happy to become a regular.
Had a voucher for a keratin treatment and ended up having a colour as well they offer a discount with the voucher. I had ombre done and it is literally perfect. I'm so happy with it! My keratin is also amazing - best one I've had by far. 4 stars only because it took a while my hair is quite long and the salon was quite busy.
The staff were nice and the cut and toner were fine for the price I paid but the Keratin treatment washed out after 3 washes!!!! I paid more money for the expensive treatment that was meant to last 6months and I spent $80+ on products that were meant to prolong the treatment. Really disappointed
Same as I just saw on the other reviews, The keratin treatment made my hair dry, When they were brushing my hair it was crazy and painful. I was suppose to have some blonde shades but you can barely notice it. I spent in total 280$ for I still didn't know what and my hair are worst than before. Pretty sad about it.
I'm giving a 2.5 star, the end result of my full colour was ok & the girl who did my hair was very nice! but the experience, the sign out the front said $69 for a full colour I accept there is often a surcharge for longer hair my hair is just below my shoulders they sat me down for a quote and said that it would usually be $99 + $20 for my hair - I asked about the sign out the front and she said that wasn't for a full colour. Basically I felt like they were just making things up and not honouring their advertising &I made me feel quite awkward. the pushing of products at the end makes people very uncomfortable - should try to read your client a bit better.
Worst hair salon experience ever!!! The keratin treatment and cut itself were good but despite the "specials" being offered, you will get charged extra! Ive been here twice, the second time i came in for a special that was $99 colour and cut.. i asked at the desk what the final price would be as i have long hair and was told $99. Yet i was charged $129 at the end because they had to 'use more product'. Not only that, its obvious that staff works on commission. The first visit i had six staff come over to promote and haggle their products at me not relaxing at all!!!, second visit i had at least 3 staff come over to sell products and both times upon checkout - if you dont buy any products the woman who i assume is the manager is unbelievably rude to put it nicely!!! Warning: Dont go here, it is an awful experience!!!
