What a surprise! I ordered dine in and my expectations were low, but I was pleasantly surprised. Chicken fried rice was VERY GOOD! It honestly didn’t look like anything special, but the flavor was amazing . I will be back if we are in the area.
I wanted a matcha latte, so I tried to order it and some pho online. Their online ordering system was turned off. I then called about 15 times trying to order, they never picked up. I drove over, the restaurant was empty so I don’t know why they weren’t picking the phone up. I placed my order, but they had no matcha latte or thai iced tea - more than half their bubble tea menu was not available. I was a little annoyed because my original reason for choosing their restaurant was not available and if they had just picked up the phone I would’ve gone somewhere else, but I was already there so I ordered fresh spring rolls and pho. The portion sizes are what I would categorize as “ridiculous” but not in a good way. The amount of meat in the house special pho and the steak and meatballs pho were tiny. My rare steak and meatballs pho came with *less than one meatball*, cut into four pieces. Come on. I would rather be charged more for a reasonable amount of food. It tasted fine. I probably will never return.
I order 2 dishes: Steamed duck leg with egg noodle and Combination with clear noodle. The food today is average, the broth is quite salty. I dont know if that is because of eating at late of the night. Last time I ate here at lunch time, broth was perfect; that is why I came back for this time. But i’m quite disaapointed this time.
Hands down the best egg noodle plus broth dish I’ve had outside of Vietnam. Amazing flavor, fresh ingredients and lots of added touches like a quail egg, extra shrimp and deep fried onion. Please don’t change a thing!!!
Consistently great pho. The broth, toppings, and noodles are delicious. Service is fast and the owners are really kind.
my favorite pho place in rva! the owners and staff are extremely nice and the food is great. always get either number 9 or 10 which is pretty much the same thing but it’s hit the stop every single time. the beef pho broth is rich and flavorful. the banh pho noodles have the perfect chew but are soft at the same time. i can tell they use fresh banh pho. the beef is always good and gets cooks nicely in the steaming hot broth. the cha gio is super crispy and fresh with the perfectly balanced nuoc mam. i love this place
The food and service here was excellent and I love it here! Even the music was great! We danced and enjoyed our meals. We will be back soon!!!
Not only did I have great vegetarian pho, but when I realized I'd left my credit card there, they were **beyond helpful** in helping out, even though I had left the area and don't even live in Richmond. I know the food is the primary selling point for a restaurant, but it feels good to eat at a place run by ethical, kind-hearted people. Definitely recommend.
I had pho here once. It was fine, nothing amazing but definitely nothing bad. The bad review comes from the bubble tea I ordered. It was the worst I've ever had. The "tea" was like a giant cup of milk with no tea flavor and the boba that I ordered with it was burnt, tasting like burnt sugar with hard black flakes in it.
Service and Food was pretty good, I drove from Chesterfield just to check them out. The establishment was very clean, and all of the table top condiments appeared to be fresh and well kept. There was a person that worked in the back an African American Gentleman that came out several times to make sure the dining room guests was okay. Which was greatly appreciated. Will definitely be back, and recommend to anyone wanting some good Pho in the Westend.
