Best Chicken Nugget ever! Love this place with their friendly staff!

Small store, reasonable selection given the size of the place and the distance from large cities. Prices are what you'd expect and they have some of the necessities like diapers, wipes, and tampons. They also have wine and fancy cheese, but I'd have settled for a larger selection of dinner and lunch foods. Great for snacks and bait, but it seems they'd like you to eat at the one restaurant in town every meal instead.

Incredibly expensive, e.g. $9.60 for a block of butter, $7 for a small punnet of blueberries, and $7 for a head of iceberg lettuce.  Good on them for working the market as the only supplier of food goods in Hahei, but these prices are officially absurd.  Shop out of town for far cheaper and greater selections.

They have a captive market and take advantage of customers having no choice with prices that are over the top.

Small market with almost everything you may need for the day.
They sell spades if you are going to Hot Water Beach can be useful.
