Had an appointment with Jacqui at the weekend, and she sorted out my rather complicated tax return quickly and efficiently. It pays to send in details of your investments in advance. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work involved. Highly professional and strongly recommended.

Surprised by all the negative feedback. Karen at H&R Block did my tax return last year and was incredibly helpful and fast. I've booked in with them for the most recent year's return and the booking was quick and easy with great customer service from reception.

My partner and I have been with our existing tax account for around 4 years. We wanted to try HR& Block because we think our current accountant can be a bit slow and expensive. We booked an appointment with HR & Block three weeks in advance online. They tried to call me once to confirm the booking once, I couldn't picked up the call but tried to call back multiple times and no one answered the phone. We showed up at their office on the day only being told we did our "booking wrong". They wanted to us to make a booking type that doesn't exist on their website. We also asked how much will it cost to get our tax return done. In the end, it will be similar cost to our current accountant and I just can't trust them with my tax return anymore after my experience. They clearly work on volume and charge people if they have no idea what is available elsewhere. Our existing slow and expensive account all of sudden become so much better when compared to HR & Block. I will stay away from them.

Worst experience I've ever had with a tax accountant. She spent the entire time umming and ahhing through a basic tax return. She didn't seem to understand most things, kept losing things on her desk and asking her colleague questions. So unprofessional with no people skills at all. I have no confidence I received the correct tax return. Terrible experience.
