Story

The Gympie Library is the central branch, located on Mellor Street near the main shopping district of Mary Street, Gympie. The Gympie Library is responsible for the purchasing, processing of collections and coordination of services for Gympie Regional Libraries. Serving the population of the Gympie Region, plus visitors from nearby shires and travellers from around the world, this modern library provides access to the latest technology and friendly, professional staff who offer a range of programs and access to resources to suit all members.

Awesome free computers public service when I moved back here they were the only place that would let me use a computer to print a resume to be able to get a job to be able to survive

Excellent staff, wonderful activities - very lively library

Nice place generally.nnWe stayed at the second level, and the roof made funny noise every time I was just about to sleep. It is like small cracks coming from the attic but loud enough to disturb you when concentrating on sleep.nnThe area is nice but expected to have transport noise coming from one of the main roads which is located on the side.nnThe receptionist lady was rude. Just not friendly and lack of hospitality skills.nnThe room is exceedingly clean, and the bed is organised in a nice way, including towels. Well furnished for multi-purposes working/studying station and kitchen table. Spacious and bright.

Great friendly service. So many well organised extra activities like sewing ...they provide the machines and an expert to help you with your projects.

Great library with wonderful staff. Always helpful. Plenty of room  if you want to sit and link into their wifi. Current newspapers, magazines available.
