The Gympie Library is the central branch, located on Mellor Street near the main shopping district of Mary Street, Gympie. The Gympie Library is responsible for the purchasing, processing of collections and coordination of services for Gympie Regional Libraries. Serving the population of the Gympie Region, plus visitors from nearby shires and travellers from around the world, this modern library provides access to the latest technology and friendly, professional staff who offer a range of programs and access to resources to suit all members.

What a great little library, we were stranded in Gympie and needed a refuge for our 2 year old daughter to entertain her and pass the time. We arrived in the middle of story time which then led to craft time so it was perfect. The staff member was very generous with her time and attention and we had a lovely time. The library itself was a bustling hive of activity and I could see they had many programs on offer to the community. Keep up the good work team.

Awesome free computers public service when I moved back here they were the only place that would let me use a computer to print a resume to be able to get a job to be able to survive

Great friendly service. So many well organised extra activities like sewing ...they provide the machines and an expert to help you with your projects.

Good environment, lots of charging points and power points. lots of tables to sit at, nearly everything is there. Toilets, books computers, IT workshops, kids book place, and more. But not many scientific fiction books.

I haven't used a computer in years and had to print off something. The girls were very helpful and patient. It's a really good library.
