4.8 stars when I posted this and it comes as no surprise. I definitely met at least 4 superstars when I took my son in there with a fever last night. Unbelievable service from start to finish. Very friendly and professional staff who know exactly what they're doing. Hard to 'recommend' people should go and check them out but if you're going to end up in emergency then these are the people you want taking care of you. Very smooth shift change. Both triage staff, nurses and doctors were amazing with my 10 year old explaining all aspects. Treated with common curiosity and spoken to and treated like a human no matter how rough we looked from camping. Thank you guys I hope you read this
Waited for 2hrs only one on the room. Could hear all the doctos laughing and mucking around. So I left. Embarrassing
On 13.2.18 I accidentally cut the outside of my left wrist. After checking with my GP's clinic I went to the Emergency Dept of Gympie Hospital since I couldn't stop the bleeding and I'm left handed.nFrom the moment I entered the Dept. and was greeted by a smiling receptionist my experience was a warm, secure and professionally outstanding one.nThe triage nurse was quick and efficient and the young lady doctor and her protege' trainee doctor were gentle, kind, caring and excellent professionally. Listening to the doctor showing her charge the ropes was an utter delight and nearly brought tears to the eyes.nHappily, my issue was very minor but I know from the previous 3 times I have had to avail myself of the emergency service during the last 13 years, that the attention afforded, no matter the problem, is always the best. Thank you to all of you.nDion
