As a frequent GYG customer, this store might be the worst one I've been to. There's always something wrong with the order, sometimes there's only two pieces of chicken, or the sour cream being the same consistency as the water. However, the most recent burrito bowl I had ordered had me appalled. Not only did it come with the usual water-like sour cream, but the entire guacamole that was added with additional cost had it's black string fibre throughout. Despicable quality check, had given this store too many chances and will not be coming back and I advise others to do the same if they are sick of being disappointed. Attached are reference photos.
I placed an order for a veg enchilada at GYG, and when I started eating it, I found a piece of chicken in it. I immediately informed one of the employees, who offered to remake the meal, and I agreed. However, after receiving the replacement, I unfortunately faced the same issue again, as there were pieces of meat in it. As a vegetarian, this was extremely upsetting and unacceptable, and I found the entire experience very unpleasant and concerning, especially since the issue had already been reported once. I would appreciate this matter being taken seriously and appropriate action being taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
I just ordered through the app to pick up in store order 2029 11:30 anzac day and this short blond curly haired lady with glasses pretty much looked at my face and ignored me when I went to the register to ask about order which showed in the app as ready and asked me to reach out to staff about it. She was calling another order and I showed her my order number. She looked at my face and ignored me like I wasn’t there. I asked again and she said very quietly “it’s coming through”. I then had a seat and waited as many other orders were getting called. I thought they were just busy, but after 10 minutes seeing all other orders being called I went and asked another staff about the order and guess what? It was ready and gad been put away without calling my number. I then told the staff what happened and she heard me, looked at me, laughed ironically and then said something to the other staff member. It was incredibly rude and she made it look like she didn’t call my number on purpose. NEVER AGAIN ordering at this place
We waited 15 minutes for our food, even though it wasn’t busy. My partner had to get back to work, and we just wanted to quickly grab some GYG for lunch. The girl handing out orders came across quite rude to both customers and staff, and didn’t seem to care that we were in a rush. We noticed multiple orders after ours being called out before we got ours, which didn’t make sense. On top of that, the sauces had barely anything in them – for $1 extra, that feels really stingy. Overall, we weren’t happy with the attitude from the worker or how long it took. She didn’t even apologise for the wait or acknowledge it at all.
90% of the time they forget your order or get your order wrong. I don't understand how they could get things wrong so consistently. I just want a regular burrito nothing fancy or nothing different. Just to make things easier without miscommunication i even skip the drive throught the physically walk in but man they just have poor service. Now I've learnt my lesson, I will not be going back. Other gyg doesn't have these kinda problems
