we waited at the speaker box waiting to order for atleast ten minutes. us thinking the speaker box is broken. we drive to the window. wait at the window for another ten minutes whilst being ignored. after waiting ten minutes the big short haired staff member flung open the window to say have patience we are short staffed. first of all if your short staffed you don’t have time to be attending to your customers in that manner and explaining your whole life to them when they simply don’t care coz all they came there for was for the “fast food”. secondly how is it our fault that your store is short staffed. thirdly inside all had their meals and no one was behind us in the drive thru so your not busy therefore you can attend to the customer waiting. when we ordered with her at the window she did not even ask if it was in a meal, ask what drink etc etc like they usually would. she needs to be retrained in customer service so that this behaviour of hers isn’t represented in future to other innocent customers. then as a “punishment” she made us park in the waiting bay. why could we not just wait at the window then if another car came we could of moved? waiting there took about another ten minutes. we received our food only for the chicken in the quesdilla be burnt aswell as the actual wrap being burnt. so then we had to waste even more time going back in to the store to get this remade as it was disgusting. we go in and ask for it to be remade and all of a sudden it takes two minutes to cook. so why did we have to wait in the waiting bay? all coz we didn’t place our order at the speaker box this is how we get treated when we pay decent dollars for the service and food you provide. STAFF NEED SOME SERIOUS REEVALUATING! and maybe even management need a better system to run by so that they aren’t short staffed and can provide better quality of service and food.nnalso may I add they also forgot the paid for extra sour cream we added to our order as a side sauce.nnwhen we walked in to do the remake. three staff members in the gyg uniform were sitting down eating food, on there phones and chatting. one was mopping the floor beside.
First time trying GYG The burrito I got was great. Chicken was fresh, not dry. Rice was very moist. Service was very friendly. Definitely recommend going there and having a feed
Bought a breaky burrito, bit of a hot mess.nBacon was not crispy at all as mentioned on menu. Waited 10 mins at drive thru, no one else was there! Typical of Rockhampton fast food, lazy, slow and incompetent.
Good food. Twice in a row had a burrito missing from the drive-through order. Hate that I will now have to check the entire family order while sitting in the drive-through, holding up the line.
Apologies for the late review but I had a horrible experience with a staff member. The food is good definitely not authentic but good nonetheless and most staff have been okay but Gina I think her name was or Genna a middle aged women with dark purple hair at some point, I’m colour blinde so I have to rely on what my husband told me, was quite rude. My bad experiences include when she told me to “hurry up and take your order, I’m not holding it all day”. I understood that she was busy, but I have Parkinson's disease and my hand movements can be slower sometimes. I told her that and she just said “Okay, that isn’t my problem.” My final straw was when my order was made wrong and they gave me pork, I accidentally ate some which caused me to be visibly upset as I am Jewish and she showed very little sympathy and even tried arguing with us that we “ordered pork” until we presented the receipt. No apologies for the false accusations whatsoever. Again, the food is nice and most staff are fine. However I will never understand why people have to act the way she does. My parents were Sephardi Jews who immigrated from Mexico and oddly enough I get treated the worst at a “Mexican restaurant”.
