Great Portions, Bold Flavours & a Must-Try Salsa Station! nVisited this Mexican spot Guzman Y Gomez, popularly known as GYG in Indooroopilly DT , Brisbane & was pleasantly surprised! We ordered two dishes — their famous Chicken Enchilada & All veggies Nachos with black beans. Both were fresh, flavourful, and generously portioned. Definitely great value for a quick bite.nnWhat stood out the most was the salsa station — a real highlight. From roasted jalapeño and smoky chipotle to fiery habanero and tangy pickled jalapeño, there was a salsa for every mood. I loved being able to mix and match!nnService was friendly and efficient, making the experience even smoother. The ambiance is casual and functional — nothing fancy, but perfect if you're after a healthy, tasty meal on the go.nnWould happily come back for another round to experience their traditional tacos & burritos, plus Mexican beer.
Paid $25 for this including a coke. What a joke and an absolute waste of money. Do better.
What happened guy? Under new management where they tell you to only add 10 grams of meat? One burrito, literally no chicken, was it forgotten? Benefit of the doubt. Came back a week later, for lack of a better description I received a rice enchilada, a handful of beans and maybe at a stretch, 3 strings of pulled pork. Seriously guys, do better. I’ll be avoiding from now on.
please explain what this is? no herb mayo, no pulled shiitake mushrooms. recently, they made me wait by the waiting bay for 15 minutes too because they got my order wrong how do you mix up a MINI SALAD with a CALI BURRITO???!!. seems to be a recurring situation if you scroll through the reviews for this GYG. wasted $12 and my time. safe to say i won’t be back to this GYG branch anymore!
Ordered a chicken bowl. Portion of the food has dropped so much even though prices have gone up a lot! Got my food. All chicken was so overcooked and blackish and tasted so bad! Most of the chicken went to rubbish bin! Healthy food?!!!! A big joke! Such blackish overcooked chicken is nothing but unhealthy 100%! Will not go there again!
