I recently ordered fries from Guzman y Gomez in Gungahlin, and unfortunately, they were not up to the mark.  The fries were extremely dry, and it seemed like they had been sitting out for quite some time.  Moreover, the seasoning was not evenly distributed, making some of the fries overly salty and others completely bland. To make matters worse, the fries were also cold, which made the whole experience even more disappointing.  Overall, I was very dissatisfied with the quality of the fries at Guzman y Gomez, and I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a good side dish.

Craving a good Mexican dinner, we were left very disappointed. It felt like our nachos were made by a toddler. It was meant to be spicy but had no flavour at all. Pulled pork was more like boiled pork. I basically had to look under a microscope to find any cheese and it looked like someone just dumped a bunch of beans from the can without even draining them - liquid gathering on the bottom making the chips soggy. Salt and spice are apparently a foreign concept. Major yikes.

Visited and were disappointed one staff member was happy to serve her friends as she deliberately came to the counter to help them and then we who were next in line were ignored until another staff member served us. Favouritism has no place in this industry, all customers should be treated equally. Food tasted good but we're disappointed not to be offered the extras bar of sauces etc. We will return because it is decent food at reasonable prices we just hope to be treated with the same accord as everyone else.

Once again, GYG always manages to disappoint.  We are loyal to the brand, but live on the north side and unfortunately have to buy our GYG from the Gungahlin store, where the staff managed to mess up our experience every time consistently. From toilers that were closed for more than half a year to messed up takeaway orders and rude staff.  Last experience today.  Ordered a bowl with substitute rice with lettuce for an overseas guest and got no lettuce.  Quite embarrassing, specifically after bragging how great GYG was. Simply the Gungahlin store is an embarrassment to the brand and I wish that HQ can do something about it.

Used to be great in the beginning, but every single time all we get is mouth fulls of RICE!!! Why so incredibly stingy on the meat????? WHY?? No matter how many times you complain they keep ripping you off with rice? It’s simple if I ask for a beef burrito ADD BEEF!!!!!!!‍‍‍

So I recently ordered a salad bowl. The meal came with barely any salad... So I took it back and asked for more salad... The lady said it isn't supposed to have much salad... I said, well, it's a salad... And showed the comparison to the menu photo. Eventually, they agreed to putting more salad in my salad bowl!!

I use to love your food and would get them all the time. But it seems like you guys have downgraded your quality of food and service very dramaticly. I have been your customer for a long time and it seems like it’s not improving at all. Firstly, the food quantity is so bad that I litterally thought they forgot to put the proteinMeat in it, I have bought the tacos from there and the amount of cheese that was put in there was scary and had barely no meat. Same goes with the enchilada, it looks like half of the fillings dissapeared. Please stop being like mr krabs with the portions because the prices already pretty expensive anyways. I don’t mind spending more money as long as I get good quality food. Customers are smart and knows when food quality is reduced, especially loyal ones. Also I have ordered online and it was a disaster. They manage to mess up my order twice on the same night. I got someone else order and okay that’s fine, I got a refund for it. So I reordered again because I was craving tacos and the chips AND THEY MANAGED to again got the wrong order. So it was a very fun and hungry night. By the way, your workers were not the most professional people out there so I recomend retraining your staffs. I usually never bothered leaving reviews especially bad ones but I really do enjoy your food and hope that it will get better. Reading some of the reviews, it seems like people have similar problem so that’s probably a sign to turn things over. Hope for your company to improve. Other than that, good luck.

The worst guzman in Canberra. Order was wrong. Missing items. Was too busy to take the order again. Get someone on the counter that can communicate. And the size of your burritos compared to ALL other guzmans are rubbish.

Hi, sorry for less stars, I visited this place yesterday to try their new soft serve, the person who took my order at counter was wearing gloves and he served me soft serve, but I noticed while filling the ice cream, ice cream was going outside of cone so he touched ice cream by his hand to put back again into the cone, his intention was good but at the same time he didn't noticed that he has touched the food directly with the same gloves which he was wearing at all time during touching kiosk, counter, machine and other places and he touched ice cream with same gloves which can lead to contamination into food, so i denied to take that soft serve and they offered another cone that is good. Further more to this rating, quality of soft serve is not that good compare to their price of soft serve at $2.50. So far macca's soft serve is best in quality at price of just around $0.80.

I love Guzman food specially barito bowl. But I try three four time from Gungahlin. Alway i get less amount of food it’s look so funny sometimes when it’s look kids food they just giving small amount of rice and little bit chicken pieces and charge me around $13 . Sometime Uncooked chicken  and they donot add onion capsicum salad .  Don’t like to try again I find best Guzman in Canberra Center always perfect service.
