Ordered a burrito with shredded brisket and chips. Food was hot and the chips were crisp and flavourful however I specified no black beans in my burrito it even being specified on the sticker printed to close my burrito together however they kept the black beans in. A bit disappointing considering the chips had my hopes up and i dont like beans at all, however overall the burrito was good. Music was a touch too loud, and it took quite some time for the food to come out.
COCKROACH IN MY BURRITO. I ordered a cali tender burrito here and as I was eating it I see a cockroach IN MY BURRITO. It was a baby cockroach which means there’s probably a lot more in the store as well. The management dealt with this horribly, only trying to hide it and take my meal away while I tried to explain to him because he didn’t want to make a scene Jose. He gave me a refund but didn’t even explain that it would have to be processed over 2-3 days and was very rushed — also was the reason why we couldn’t get a clearer photo of the cockroach in my burrito see below. the staff didn’t even try replace possible cross contaminatedningredients and continued to serve customers under a clear violation of food health conduct. Do not come here. They’ve put me off GYG, which disappoints me as a former loyal customer.
Worst ever. Just order slow cook beef Burrito Bowl, and open it very small amount of rice and only 2 peice of beef.nAsked them to make a spicy, but no sauce was put at all.nI always love to have Guzman in other suburbs, but Caridale one is the worst!
GyG is one of my favourite places to have a bite to eat and I happen to stop at this one today at the shops. Amazing service and smiling staff was what I noticed right away. Jose, I hope I got your name right. You made my indecisive nature feel almost normal. Thank you for your kindness and patience. Definitely coming back!
The worst customer service I’ve received by a restaurant by far! This afternoon I ordered a simple meal. 2 customers walked in behind me and ordered after me… 10 minutes roll by, these 2 customers got their food and long gone. More and more customers get their food and are served very quickly with no problems. My wife walks up after 20 minutes of waiting now and asks, what’s happening with our order and the young girl looking confused, says we are just making the chips. No problem. Another 10 minutes roll by, now it’s been 30 minutes, I walk up to the counter and ask the older Hispanic lady wearing glasses with no name tag, what’s happening with our order, she gives me a different answer, “we are waiting for the chicken”. With no apologies. I say to her why didn’t you tell me when i ordered my food half an hour ago that you don’t have it or won’t be ready for another half hour… her answer was “I DONT CARE”… I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. If I was your boss, I would have thrown you out of that store. You disrespectful human, you don’t deserve that job and anyone else would have handled the situation more professionally. If you don’t like what you do, quit and find another job that doesn’t involve customer service.
