Story

A true love story of romance and chocolate, the history of Guylian began in 1958 with its founders – Guy and Liliane Foubert.

Guy was a passionate Belgian chocolatier who developed the recipe of a signature hazelnut praliné filling; his sweetheart Liliane added an artistic touch, designing the shining marbled look and the delicately sculptured shapes and from that point Chocolaterie Guy-Lian was born.

Now many years later, Guylian is sold in more than 100 countries and we remain faithful to the original rich praliné recipe and delicately detailed shapes which define the brands heritage.

Took my wife there for high tea on our anniversary. Beautiful place, decor is wonderful, staff are welcoming. The food was just wonderful. A very enjoyable experience that I highly recommend.

Superb coffee and service. Elegant, relaxing ambience with well chosen music that encourages the enjoyment of Guylian by encouraging good conversation. My favourite place for a meal and coffee :  the ONLY Cafe to take friends!

One for chocolate lovers, nice atmosphere, good selection, only suggestion would be anotjer staff member to clean tables ahead of demand

The decor and interiors of this cafe make you feel like you're in Paris, enjoying a scrumptious croissant and in my opinion the best hot chocolate available in Perth. I've tried their cakes, brownies, ice creams and chocolates and each item has been beyond amazing. Always look forward to visiting each weekend for my weekly chocolate fix. An added bonus is that this cafe is open till 11:30 pm on a Friday and Saturday night.

My family and I went to Guylian for the first time for my daughter's birthday. 
I had booked on the phone a few days prior for high tea, but when we arrived at Guylian, no one came up to serve us. We waited at the door for 5 minutes. Then, the waitress told us that they had not written down our booking, so we had to wait for a further 20 mins before we were served. We were disappointed with the quality of our food; there was barely anything, only some chocolate, a few small slices of cake and some crackers with cheese for $115.  Definitely not worth it. We had ordered 2 coffees (it came with the high tea) but they didn't come at all, despite there being only a few customers in the cafe at that time. The waitress was on her mobile phone.

We left very disappointed and will not be going back again.
