Neat place. Very good quality North Indian food. All the dishes were very good, especially the Naans. Service was very good and fast. No issues at all.
We and our friends group of 5 wanted to come in for an evening round of snacks. When we tried to call and book a table in advance, we were forced by the Indian lady on the phone to select our food and drinks from the menu over the phone. She kept saying her restaurant closes every evening at 6 pm. When we arrived a little before 6, we realised that was not the case. There were other guests seated inside that had just begun to order from the dinner menu. When we suggested we would like to sit inside to have our meal, she informed us that she had already packed our food as takeaway and that she would not be able to provide us a table inside. All this when the occupancy inside was only 20 percent. We were forced to stand on the sidewalk outside to have our paper cups of tea and samosas. The masala tea was the worst we have tasted. Sad that an Indian restaurant tried to pass off sugar syrup as traditional masala tea. We were not provided even with the most basic service of paper towels by this woman, who was downright rude and standoffish. Disappointed to see one Indian treat another Indian or for that matter one human treat another human with the utter lack of decency or respect. Bad food. Bad service. Worst attitude.
WORST INDIAN FOOD I EVER HAD!! Paid $60 for 1 person meal and sadly had to throw into the bin. Naan bread was like a chewing rubber, started having toothache after eating half bread. Curry taste like a sour paste of spices. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
"Masters of Indian Cuisine" is just lies. They have no clue how to make Indian food. The curry I had had barely any spices used and was sour. It felt as if they just crushed vegetables and put paneer chunks in and gave it to me after warming it in a microwave. There was also a lady at the counter who was extremely rude and did not listen at all when I was ordering. She said the food was ready for me when I got there, as I had preordered, but I didn't get the food until 2 hours after I got there, and it tasted like it was done up in 2 minutes. It seemed to me that even the food they sell on the side of the road in dhabas in India is much better. Overall really bad service and food.
Ambience good but the food not so well prepared. Curries were below average. Waiting staff not friendly and a bit rude to other customers. Had a bit of billing issue. Giving 1 star only because entrees were ok.
Really happy with the food! They cater to vegans which meant a great deal. Serving time was quick considering how much rush they had. Reasonable prices too. Will definitely be back!
The food is amaaaaazzing!!! We tried the Rasam Laddoo which had an incredible burst of flavours of tamarind and dates- spicy , sweet and tangy.. The mains was veg korma and dal makhani both chefs special...that was so full of flavour.. each time I come to coffs, I will definitely try this place!! Highly recommend it..ambience is good and service great too.
Not only was the meat was tough, But the Waitress was very rude & not interested in serving at all. She had her back to the clientele the whole time which made it very hard to get her attention for some service. Would not recommend
Nice food. Nice vegan options. Expensive- meals are not large for the price they are charging and soft drinks for $5
I have no words other than a "Abomination of food and service". My parents ended up going home and eating and the lady at the counter was so rude I payed and walked out just to avoid her.
