The light rail overall is very smooth, convenient and popular, so the terminus here connects to bus services and most of the shops that you could need.nThe street is also noticeably landscaped with seating to watch the trams which make it all more enjoyable.
The lady tram driver was absolutely wonderful. She was very friendly and extremely helpful.nWe took our grandson for his and ours first ride. He was pretty impressed!
The temporary fence on Kate Crace St clearly visible to the tram operators and passengers blew down 9 DAYS AGO in the storm. Pedestrians are forced to walk with their backs to the traffic on the road. Not a good and look. DEFINITELY A SAFETY ISSUE.nTransport Canberra I understand rent the temporary fence adjacent and are obligated to mow the lawns along the edges for pedestrians however it has never been done. Lets keep Gungahlin beautiful and a place to visit.
The terminal station of Canberra light rail service which connects to the Canberra city interchange at Alinga street station. The station is conveniently located besides the Gungahlin shopping mall. Buy tickets and recharge your travel cards at provisioned machines on the station platform.
Don’t use the tram for the next fortnight - doesn’t go further than Wells Station and the replacement bus service takes forever quicker walking!!
