Gunghalin leasure center has the worst billing system I have ever seen. There is no phone number to talk to about the faulty payment charges. If I speak to debit success they say to talk to the center. Center's email support takes days to get back. Team at the counter don't deal with billing matters. For the same reason I stopped my kids swimming classes back in 2019 and resumed in 2026 hoping things changed but nothing changed. Kids swimming Classes are suspended and I am being charged suspension fee and the classes fee. Center's billing and management is a joke.
There is no phone number to talk about the on-going swiming lessons. Like Rescheduling, pausing, sick, etc. The phone number is only for sales. I have contacted someone for rescheduling kids lessons via the phone and they said they will pass the details to someone and i will get a call. No one called. Sent an email, no one responded, its been a week now , waiting for the email response. People at the counter dont know much either. They try to charge my card but half of the payment went through only , in the next few minutes i came to know this and i made manual payment, and i was being chased for 10$ late fee... What is this.. Went to counter they dont know what was that for... really disappointed with the services.
I live very close to this centre and really want to like it because it’s such an important community facility. Unfortunately, there are some ongoing issues that make it hard to feel that the centre takes its impact on the surrounding neighbourhood seriously.nThere have been repeated instances of alarms going off for long periods, sometimes at odd hours, which carry across the area and disrupt nearby residents. It’s not a one-off mistake, it seems to be a recurring issue that hasn’t been properly addressed.nMore broadly, there’s a sense that environmental and community considerations aren’t given much priority. Simple things that would show care for the local area and the people who live around the centre don’t seem to be acted on. For a public facility that serves the community, this is disappointing.nI’m not writing this to be negative, but because this place has the potential to be a great asset to the area if these issues were taken seriously and managed better.nI hope the management can take this feedback on board and improve how they handle these matters for the benefit of both patrons and neighbours.
Super bad experience for our two kids first class.nThey were swamped and crowded and bad management.nClass canceled last minute without notification,not inclusive for new comers.nnNot even saying hello to a new nervous young child.nnI mean if you guys were not capable of accommodating new members.Don’t say you have spots.nnHorrible experience.
This is a ok pool for young kids to play or to swim laps just expect to only be able to swim 25m. I would not recommend swimming lessons here. I have found many of the staff to be inexperienced and due to the high number of kids in each class, very little correction of technique happens. This means that kids don't progress very quickly. It feels like a waste of money. Unfortunately the managers aren't very helpful when you raise concerns. Also, in a year of attending this pool, I have never seen a clean family change room. The floors are always gross and I can't get it out of there quick enough.
