Huge cemetery, beautifully laid out like a nice garden/ park, peaceful atmosphere.nThe cemetery has many sections.nIt was fantastic view. So different from my little hometown where cemetery gives us scarry atmosphere nMy friend took me here as I came to see Australian spring flowers. Absolute disgrace and shambles the way this cemetery has treated my mother's grave. Repeatedly pulling plants put in her plants. Now I come back after years forced to be away, to find out two plants I placed in her plot have been crudely sawed out, leaving an ugly looking space. In addition to trampling the small fencing borders I put up on her grave boundary. Yeah, this is NOT going to go answered.nnBut Gungahlin cemetery is going to be held accountable for their DISGUSTING actions. I'm soon suing this shambolic excuse for a cemetery making sure they never do this to anyone else's loved one's final resting place. BET. And when time comes, I spit on ALL your graves, Gungahlin cemetery management. That's a promise.
Treated me like I was less than nothing when it came to loosing my partner and found they wore bias and very accommodating towards my partners family through this loss but not for me and mine.nAnother stressful and heartbreaking situation to deal with these people from the organisation of my partners burial site, to the timing of the headstone arriving and still not being installed 9+months later as well as a tonne of miss communication and was abruptly told they will not and cannot give me any more information on my deceased partners burial plaque. Deeply disappointing how they pick and choose who they work closely with and who they do not. They do not even seem phased when people have thrived belongings left at burial sites for loved ones - which was also a shock. Overall would never recommend you guys to any friends and family in Canberra. Not organised, delays and miscommunication on burial sites are all important things to not mess up but seemed like their was a mess up every step of the way with the process of burning my partner. I did not even know where he was to be buried on the day of his burial. 0/10

Wonderful Cemetery !nWonderful Staff !nMy precious husband passed away last year & decided to buy a double depth plot in Gungahlin Cemetery.nIt seemed to be the perfect place for our final resting place.nIn the worst time of my life & our children's, the staff made all the different in the world.
