Natural durable locally grown HARDWOOD will last a lifetime with minimal maintenance. Very few products can compare when having to be used in an outdoor situation. I don't know of any engineered timber products that can outlast solid Hardwood in the outdoors. Australian species are ideally suited to Australian conditions. Fire Resistent. Choice of mixed hardwood colours or go one specie like Blackbutt, Tallowood, Grey Gum, Iron Bark, Forest Reds or Tupentine.

I have purchased a timber from GT hardwood a few times over the last year for different projects. They have great timber at reasonable prices, Cheryl is always helpful. I will be going back again.

If i could give 0/5 stars i would. I Bought 560lm of feature grade mixed species (that is apparently suitable for decking) they neglected to disclose how much "feature" (cracks knots splits holes insect marks miss cuts etc) is in the pack until you have the wood and they have your money.  was definitely mislead by the description and photos. I estimate that 80 % the wood in the pack had "feature" and looks exactly the same as utility grade. I would NOT recommend it for decking. Customer service was absolutely disgusting .  When querying the quality of the wood i Was told that i had 40sec to talk cos she had better things to do. Then while I was talking she started to count ten nine eight seven...etc could not believe how rude and unprofessional the sales lady was. I sent emails and got no replies, i called the office in which i got no answers to my questions and was hung up on. Simple and valid questions like: * what's is the name of the owner/ and or manager? * Why dont you write in the description how much feature  is in the packs of wood?  * How do you determine the difference between feature grade and utility? I guess if they did that know one would buy it. I wouldn't of bought it if I'd known. GT hardwood still won't talk to me or give me a refund. Consumer warranties and consumer right means nothing to this company. TRUE COLOURS SHOW When they have your money!!!

At first the experience seemed good and my daughter and her husband were going to use them to buy their timber to build their two decks. I knew I wasn't getting perfect timber but I was very annoyed when there were half a dozen large pieces that couldn't be used at all so that put the estimation out a lot. We ended up not having enough timber to finish my deck. I tried ringing them and their attitude was stiff you knew the timber wasn't perfect. My point is if there were pieces in the lot that couldn't be used at all, then they shouldn't have been put into the pack. Very annoyed

After leaving GT timbers at 7 Sawmill rd Woodford today, I felt compelled to write this review. It is with great pleasure to let other folk know about our experience my wife and I had, with a most delightful lady called Sheryl who was so bubbly and full of knowledge about her product. Her helpfulness and time away from her busy schedule was uplifting. It is a rare thing these days to still deal with a person who talks plain English. I've been in the Service industry for over 37 years now and it's heart warming to know there are still genuine people out there wanting to help rather than look at their watch. Humans still exist more so in the outskirts of Brisbane than in the city itself. Let's hope good ole fashioned country service doesn't change. Again, thank you for your helpfulness.
