GrowCa Bonogin is a locally owned grocery store and café offering a variety of products from basic household essentials through to fine food and drinks.

Story

Dine in, stop by, browse the shelves and experience the difference. We strive to provide a friendly and inviting shopping experience built on tradition and value.

We offer a variety of foods, with limited sugars, processed, and refined products. we like to know where our food comes from and where possible, how it is grown.

Our non food products will have a social conscience with a priority given to plant and mineral based ingredients that are sourced from natural and or renewable resources, where possible.

We offer safer alternatives to harsh chemicals.
We believe in creating a stronger community, and so we provide the perfect platform for community members to both meet and interact.

We are safely accessible by car, bicycle, or foot, and even by horse.

We are excited to originate from your community!

Lovely Sunday drive into the country hills and came across a very cute general store with a cafe. Was so excited to find Milawa Cheese instore, hands down best cheese ever!! Really fantastic to see a small town cafe putting on the modern experience but unfortunately fell a little short for me today... Breakfast looked great, but missed the mark a little with the toast and weird hollandaise sauce, and I sadly didn't like my coffee : Definitely pop in if you are in the area though, it's worth trying. Will be back for another go and some Milawa cheese soon ;
Great food, amazing coffee, fabulous service and delicious homemade treats! Only 30 minutes from the Gold Coast, but you would think you were in a countryside haven. Dog friendly - and they even sell doggy treats. Eat inside or out, on the veranda, or out the back where your furry friend can play. Take time to drive out there and say hi to Rainey and her friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them and it’s the most cosy cafe I’ve found. Can’t rate them highly enough!
Awesome staff! Awesome coffee! Awesome food! All in a lovely location. The best Soy Latte I've ever had and it comes in a HUGE SIZE :D Just need more plant based options for us vegans :
Fantastic local store providing cafe, food and supplies from fresh produce to firewood. All of the take away and dine in food is incredible! You never know what kind of treat you might find on the counter when dropping in for a coffee.
I dropped by on the way to see a friend to pick up a small gift and was blown away by the friendly staff Raine, I believe she was the owner who helped me pick out an assortment of items, wrapped it for me and even added some flowers off the table ornaments. This is the kind of service and care that will make me come visit from across the Gold Coast. Also had a few vegan options I really appreciate! Thanks Raine!
I have had nice coffee but the shelves did not entice me into the shop. The old general store feel has gone and the vegan culture has taken over. Do not need brain washing on health. You can't even buy the simple carton of milk or a loaf of bread. People like the o ld days sometimes. The old shop had the tin of beans or some things you may have forgotton to bring home.
Nice set up. Friendly staff, yummy bagels with salmon. We'll be back. Update: Back again, about 4 weeks after the first visit. You've stepped it up guys. It was fantastic today. Keep it up!
Sadly we will never be back. We are locals but have experienced terrible customer service several times in a row. The last time we visited, there was no hollandaise sauce or avocado available for the breakfast menu at 9am in the morning. After having ordered an eggs benedict, we were informed that there was no sauce available and asked to pick a replacement meal without any apology whatsoever. The meal we chose was cheaper however we were offered no refund on the difference between the two meals. We had to ask afterwards for the money back and we were made to feel quite awkward about it. The barista even walked over and said 'why' sarcastically to the girl serving us while we were standing there.
Great local café/restaurant. Lovely staff. We went there to try thr new burger menu. The locals were so welcoming. Definately try the fish burger and sweet potato chips.
Horrible experiance, did not receive a polite or relaxing or friendly environment. I experianced a judgmental and arrogant ownership and service experiance. I would highly reccomend to go anywere else but Growca.
